love the old sideshow circus days
I remember my father taking me to a circus, I believe it was the Clyde Beatty Circus, an oddity in this smallcommunity, and it had a so-called freak show, I asked the guy on the way out what a freak was, he said peoplewho are different. I said you can get a lot of those around this town..but we still call them people.

Guess i didn't read the description carefully enough, the majority of the stories are fiction. I was under the impression it was more non fiction but there are only two or three stories that are non fiction.

A fun book to read
A fun book to read, especially for people who like reading books about the circus. An anthology of stories "behind the scenes" at carnivals and circuses, collected from various sources. Includes a short bio of the late, great P.T. Barnum and his rise to fame. A pleasant diversion!
