good kids toothpaste
I purchased this pack of Crest Kids Enamel + Cavity Protection toothpaste for my children, and it’s been a great everyday option for our household. The flavor is mild and kid-friendly without being overpowering, which makes brushing much easier and avoids complaints or resistance at bedtime. I like that it’s designed to help protect enamel while also fighting cavities, especially for kids who are still learning good brushing habits. The toothpaste has a smooth texture that isn’t gritty, and it rinses clean without leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. The tubes are a good size, and having a pack of three is convenient and cost-effective, especially for families with multiple kids or busy routines. The packaging is easy for children to handle, and they don’t need to use much to get a good clean. Overall, this is a dependable kids’ toothpaste that balances effective dental care with a taste children enjoy. It’s something I feel good about using daily and would purchase again.

Too spicy for my kids
I bought this Crest Kids Enamel + Cavity Protection Toothpaste 3-pack for my 4- and 5-year-old girls, hoping it would be a good fit for their dental care routine. I liked that it’s specifically designed for kids with enamel and cavity protection, and the fact that it’s a well-known brand gave me confidence. The 4.1 oz tubes are a decent size, and the 3-pack is a great value for the price. The toothpaste itself seems to do its job—I’ve noticed their teeth look clean and healthy after brushing, and I feel good knowing it’s helping protect against cavities. The strawberry flavor sounded promising, and I thought it would be a hit with my girls since they love fruity tastes. However, both of them said it felt “too spicy” on their tongues, which I think might be from the fluoride or the slight minty undertone that’s still there despite the strawberry flavor. They didn’t love brushing with it as much as I’d hoped, though they did get used to it after a few tries. I appreciate that it’s an ADA-approved formula and has a gentle texture that doesn’t foam up too much, which makes it easier for my kids to brush without making a mess. The packaging is also bright and fun, which got them excited to try it at first. It’s a solid toothpaste overall, and I’d probably buy it again for the dental benefits, but I might look for a milder flavor next time to make brushing more enjoyable for my little ones. If your kids aren’t too sensitive to a slight “spicy” feel, this could be a great pick!

Kids love it!
The kids love this and say “Yummy!” every time they brush their teeth. They never did that with other toothpastes. So I would recommend this.

Also great for adults sensitive to mint, foaming (SLS) prevents residual toothpaste on toothbrush
I am sensitive to mint and peppermint in my oral hygiene products. A thin thread of mint floss is bearable, but a mouthful of mint toothpaste makes my mouth hurt all over inside. That's why I started looking for non-mint toothpastes, which mostly only exist for the children's market. Luckily, there is no downside to using children's toothpastes because these Crest ones have the same amount of fluoride as adult's toothpastes, so this is a perfect choice. These are foaming (contains SLS which I'm not sensitive to), which I specifically wanted so they wouldn't leave residual toothpaste on the toothbrush. I tried non-foaming kids toothpastes in the past and they often left little globs of toothpaste at the bases of the bristles that were hard to remove because they didn't foam up, and over time they could turn brown which made me nervous. So with those toothpastes, I had to diligently use a toothpick to get all those residual spots out each time. With this foaming Crest, it was much easier and residual toothpaste wasn't a problem on the toothbrushes.
