Very smooth wood, far better than bamboo and plastic tunisian hooks. The cords swivel which make crocheting very easy and comfortable. All parts are made beautifully.

I’ve had plenty of Tunisian crochet hooks and interchangeable Tunisian sets but nothing compared to this. I do not like wood hooks at all but with that being said, I really like this set. For me wood seems to drag on my yarn. It just does not glide smoothly, but this set does. My yarn just rolls off of it. Nice and smooth. The cords do swivel which I’m pleased with. I looked at several sets and for the money, this set is definitely the best value in my opinion. I was a little skeptical because of the wood , however, I am very pleased with this purchase. Also, the case it comes in is really pretty.

I absolutely love these crochet hooks and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I am really impressed with these needles. I've been using them with light weight yarn made of rayon from bamboo and the yarn glides over the needles very nicely. I am a beginner with Tunisian crochet and bought a really cheap set first to see if I liked Tunisian crochet; my advice, don't bother with a cheap set, it was a waste. So I did a little research and chose this one and am very happy with how light they are and how the cords swivel. I already added on to my set and bought connectors, extra wire and a large needle for bulky yarn.

I went to a TC class and was able to try different Tunisian needles. I tried 3 sets and this is by far one of my favorites. I immediately came home and purchased. It’s the beauty and smoothness for me!

I've only been using this new hook system for two days but I am already in love! It is so easy on my hands/wrists. The yarn glides effortlessly across the hook and cables with no snagging. I am NOT in love with the price but if you're an avid crochet craftsperson as am I, it's worth the price for the quality you get!

I purchased my first set at a yarn Store and loved them. I accidentally stepped on one of the hooks and broke it and couldn't just find that one size to replace it so a whole new set. They are my go to hooks. Smooth, the cable is good, carrying case is nice - just don't step on one.

I have 3 sets of Tunisian crochet hooks, two metal and this one. I find that bamboo causes too much drag through the yarn but these ebony hooks glide as well as metal and are easier on my hands. Highly recommend!

This is an absolutely gorgeous product. I’ve been using it for a while now and if you’ll forgive the pun, I’m hooked! It shipped quickly and was well packaged also.The hooks are smooth and snag-free, lightweight and warm in the hands. The swivel cables are wonderful and don’t tangle. I love that the tightening tool is a nice size that’s easy to use and feels secure in my hands.The case is beautiful, though I have to admit I’m not fond of the feel of what appears to be raw silk on the exterior. The interior fabric is smoother, however, and the case is well sewn. I do wish that it had an extra slot or two, so if/when I buy more sizes I can keep them in the same case.Will definitely be looking to add more of this brand to my toolkit.

Though not the cheapest, in my opinion the best! They are perfectly shaped at the point and simply glide through the stitches. Even the cable end stops are miniture works of art. The supplied case is also of the highest quality silk.My only minor complaint is that a 7mm hook is not included but this can be purchased seperately.If you love Tunisian Crochet, then this is a good investment.

First of all, they are gorgeous Tunisian crochet hooks! Having the case is great for storage and it’s nice and compact!Everything that you expect to be there is there so you can pick up a hook and start right awayI’ve tested it with coton yarn to make a dishcloth and even with the grip from the yarn, it was really smooth to work with! I also tried it with a nice acrylic yarn because I’m making squares for a blanket and that is working up like a dream!I can also fit my interchangeable cords from my knitting needles in there so it can be practical since there are only two cord lengths in this kit.It’s great as a starter kit and for now I haven’t needed other hook sizes with my projects so this kit is great for my needs!Some people prefer sharper hook heads to crochet, but the roundness of these don’t bother me and go into the stitches very well!
