They are bendy
Not a typical straight edge as it bends a lot, wouldn't worry about it breaking and a decent price though

Good value
This good value 60cm/2 foot stainless steel rule does the job! It's marked in whole millimetres one side (both edges) which is great for me, I always think you can't properly see/use half millimetres anyway. On the other side it's marked in inches; sixteenths along one edge and thirty-seconds along the other edge. It's not very thick, quite bendy, and it arrived in an enormous grey plastic bag and I thought it would be bent. But it wasn't, so I guess it is stronger than it looks. Hence my 'good value' review!

Clearly marked metric
We went metric about fifty years ago so I strongly object to finding historic units cluttering my tools. This rule is clearly marked in mm on both edges (I ignore the history on the back) It suits me well but a pity it is not a little thicker.

Blackspur 60cm rule. Good markings.
So this is a Blackspur 60cm steel rule, of expected quality for the price. The steel is only 0.6mm thick, so it's a bit wobbly, and it's 26mm wide, fractionally more than an inch.Packaging from the supplier was the orange plastic sleeve it comes in (immediately binned) and a grey plastic bag to wrap it up. How it was not bent in the post I don't know. The marking are very clearly etched and painted black, and look to be very good indeed. However, the description claims "It has a non-glare satin chrome finish", sadly it doesn't. It is slightly matt polished steel with shine. This rule, along with every other one I've ever seen with metric one side and imperial the other, has on the imperial side Inches with tenths (and some 20ths) along the top edge, and the usual half, quarter, eighths and sixteenths (and some 32nds) along the lower edge. Since most will not work to decimal parts of an inch, I find this very inconvenient. It would be better to have the conventional divisions on the top edge, and the tenths on the lower edge. I know engineers would disagree, but this 60cm rule is not really aimed at the engineers market. It is a good rule for the money, but I should have paid more for better, if only I could find one with the markings I prefer.

60CM Metric Ruler
These rulers a very accurate and study and well worth the money. I use them for tiling so need to be MM perfect and these are great for the job

Very flimsy
It’s not the most accurate I’ve compared it to other rulers and the centre meters are slightly bigger and it’s not very sturdy but it’s perfect for doing long straight lines for crafts

60 cm steel ruler
It was 59.9 cm as the first 1mm was missing, however I wanted a long straight edge which was hard enough to use a sharp knife along
