Looks awesome
My husband has had this on his just because list for a while. It looks great like a true fossil. The quality is great the size is perfect. It's not too heavy and has beautiful detail. It sits perfectly on the stand and swivels easily. When I read the reviews most people did not like that it swiveled but if it's just going to sit on a shelf then to me that doesn't make a difference. Overall great value for what I paid. In the picture I posted a picture with my hand for size reference. It's pretty good size.

As described looks good like the size
Came on time as described I like the look and size. Now for the other stuff. They send you a wrench to tighten post to base nut, but the wrench is too wide to fit in hole. Making it useless. The skull has a dowel pin that just sits on the post. allowing it to spin freely. Not a deal breaker for me. Could always add a bit of silicone let it set up and it won’t move around.

I can show my student the replica without worrying about a true fossil getting damaged. The replica comes with a stand and wrench that can easily be put together. The artist who made this skull was very skilled in that it looks real.

The head is not held properly.
What I don’t like about the replica is that the head swivels on the tube it supposed to screw on. Not satisfied with the product. Sad.
