Interesting, reassuring, a must-read if you too are struggling with zoom fatigue and screen guilt!
Loveeeeee this book! It dives into lots of really interesting areas in a digestible way without diluting the science and data behind it. Fighting zoom fatigue and the struggles of increased screen time due to lockdown, this book was exactly what I needed to read right now. Had lots of “aha!” moments and there was never any shaming towards increased screen time - unlike a lot of writing on this topic that exist. Loved it and have recommended to a lot of friends already!

Highly recommended read. Relatable and engaging content.
I am not quite finished but have read enough to know it’s a beautifully written book covering some challenging topics of why we use tech and really gets you thinking. I love the inclusion of studies of our tech habits, very interesting. I found it all very relevant and I could relate to so much of the content. I will for sure be creating some better habits off the back of it. I look forward to finishing it and have recommended to many already!

One of the most important books of recent times
Like it or not, we are all looking at our devices much more than we used to, and for many this can be a source of great anxiety or guilt. In this book, Becca outlines some invaluable advice for how to build a better relationship with our devices and learn to gain control over them once more. In this day and age, this book isn't just a good recommendation, it is an essential read from one of the most talented tech minds out there!

Brilliantly written and easy to understand
Brilliantly written and easy to understand. Becca skilfully siphoned through the mounds of information so that I didn’t have to, and even helped me to understand the essentials of security (where others have failed before!) I loved the chapter on addiction and despite previously thinking “I’m not addicted” I recognised some warning signs. She tackled a topic that could be rather heavy with humour, balance and precision.
