Absolutely beautiful on my 1960's vintage pole lamp. Be careful. The glass is very thin and fragile. I was not careful enough, and dinged one corner. Had to order another one. The light still works, because the outer shape is just a shell. The real illumination is from the acrylic inner cylinder. These new LED bulb shapes are so much fun. It was very hard to find a shade that would be similar to the original, metal shade. It needs to work both upright and hanging down.

Beautiful nicer than what I expected

Still not bright enough to read by, as another user noted. I just wanted to upload a video to show the brightness of the light from one end of the room to the other. It's still bright enough to do most things in, but if you were wanting it to light your room, as I did, you will probably need a supplementary lamp for reading or painting your nails, ect. I love the shade of the light. It is very much like having a candelabra and it speaks to the 18th century Romantic in me. If you wanted to have some romance of the non-literary type, I think this would do the job.

This is a beautiful LED bulb, Which also has a cover! So you could use the LED bulb alone or together with the glass shade as is shown! I was really looking forward to using it in an antique standing lamp that I have. When I opened the box, I noticed right away there was a big hole in the bottom corner of the bulb… there broken was glass all throughout the box…. So I’m trying to figure out how I can get this exchanged and hopefully get one that isn’t broken, but the only way I found is to send the broken bulb back which seems a bit ridiculous. I highly recommend the bulb if you can get it in one piece… Note, I was able to get a hold of Amazon customer service and they sent me a replacement for free. I was really reluctant when I got the replacement as it’s packed the same way the other one was, with very little protection for the bulb. I was greatly surprised when I opened it and it was in one piece! Hallelujah I love this bulb!!! It’s not super bright, more for mood lighting I would say, at least for these old eyes!

It's ok. But just ok. I like the colour and the look. It doesn't put out enough light to be used on it's own without another lamp. (And it's just in a small bedroom.) It seems overpriced to me.

I purchased a cheap sputnik chandelier for 6 bulbs and decided to go with these ones in different colors. Look like a piece of art, but it is expensive to buy 6 of them. And yes, not bright, as in the description.

these are exactly what I was looking for - a statement piece! They are gorgeous! Completely changed the look of my hanging light. Unfortunately they don't show up well in photos, so I didn't post any. Would certainly purchase again!
