Works great. Quality product, easy to clean with soap and water. I use to hold down bacon and sandwiches . Never realized I needed this . Size is a bit small so I do need to move it around when cooking bacon.

My son loves to sear meat to cook quickly and maintain the juicyness of the meat. It's solid and heavy. He loves this item.

Yes, this is a standard cast iron grill press. However, the advertising is very deceptive. Just below the product description is a giant ad for the Bellemain Company. It tells the story of the young Frenchman (with a easily recongnizable name) coming to America and starting this successful company. Nowhere does it say that the press is made in China. The Amazon description never mentions this is a Chinese product. It makes you wonder about the product safety when you are pressing Chinese iron onto your food. Also, notice the lack of the actual packaging in the photos. You see everything except for the cardboard wrapper where it says "made in China" in 4 point font. I am going to send it back primarily because of the deception.
