I am a grown-@ss adult. I bought these for myself and another grown-@ss adult so we could play them at work and mess with our coworkers.Our boss proceeded to implement these as part of a strategic improvement plan for all staff. On top of our normal work duties, we had to arrange and prepare for quarterly concerts to provide entertainment for our customers. Thankfully, there was a probationary period, but once that was over, our work evaluations became solely based upon these recorder performances.We were forced to practice day and night, under the scorching sun, in rain, during snow, and in the meantime, our other work fell by the wayside. We were berated and belittled for not keeping up with our regular duties, while being told our playing was never good enough or worthy of earning us a promotion. Thankfully, our boss suffered an asthma attack while attempting to show us the 'correct' way to play, Earth, Wind, and Fire's, "September." We were finally free.We sent his soul to heaven under the screeching squealing sound of these recorders.Don't buy these.

This is a set of 6-pack 8 Hole Soprano Recorders. I have experience with wood recorders before, but this is more of a plastic type and very much lightweight. The sound is pretty crisp and clear, and the stick that comes with it works pretty well. The quality is not quite the same as the wooden recorders, but it is about $12 for six which comes out to be about $2 each. It is very much worth it to buy in bulk if you have multiple kids wanting to learn the recorder.

These work great. They are just like the plastic flutes I used in elementary school. Great price and great product.

The media could not be loaded. I am a music teacher.If your child is being asked to purchase a recorder for school, these are not what the teacher wants you to get. They are better quality than the dollar store recorders, but cheaper than what other students will likely have.They are very airy and are smaller and lighter than typical recorders.I would say the price is worth their value. But if you were looking for what most people would consider a recorder, this is not it. This is more like a toy.
