I am not going to say this pillow is horrible, as it probably depends on exactly what you are looking for. I needed something with a lot more "fill", so that I could prop myself into a comfortable partially sitting position after surgery. This most definitely would NOT do the trick and I returned it immediately after receiving it. The pictures made it look like it had a lot of filler, but what I received was a pillow that didn't have enough fluff in it to be anything like what I saw in the photos. Disappointed.

If you buy this pillow thinking you"ll be getting something like the photo, be prepared to be surprised when it arrives! I bought this in May 2013 and purchased a separate cover. I'm just about ready to toss it. Once I stuffed the overly soft pillow sections into an case designed for these things it more closley resembled the photo. Even so, it was too soft and unsuitable for the intended use. Currently I have it folded in "half" (the two sections folded toward each other) and it easily fits inside a regular king sized case. That makes it firm enough to either use behind other pillows to prop me up or I use it to support my back when laying on my side. I roll slightly forward and pull it closely toward my back the roll back onto part of the pillow. Even stuffed inside a king pillow slip it is not very firm.It does hold up well to washing and drying.

I bought this for my elderly father, who reads a lot in bed using propped up pillows. When I took it to him, he said the pillows are usually a pain, because he has to adjust them repeatedly, until they are "just right". This pillow was perfect from the start, stays put, and he loves it. It's composed (roughly) of a wedge-shape and a half-roll-shape, which are connected along one edge and fold together. It can be configured for different kinds of support, by flipping the two halves over, or using a different surface as the base. It's soft enough that it can even be used for sleeping. Unlike this pillow, other "reading pillows" hold the user at too much of an upright position, and are bulky and firm. There can be a problem of sliding down slowly, over time, but not with this pillow. The covers appear to be of good quality (although we haven't washed them yet), but take a modicum of spatial-relations ability to put on. You have to orient the pillow correctly before squishing it through the elastic hole in the back. Overall, a very good purchase.

I bought this because I'm having surgery very soon and wanted a pillow that would support me while sitting up. this pillow offers NO support at all. I have no idea where they got how to use it 3 ways. You're lucky if you can get it to flip 2 ways. This pillow is way too soft and nowhere near as big as it shows in the photo. It does make a great sleeping pillow, but not a support pillow, as I interpreted to be. I would return it, but I don't have time to deal with the hassle, and I will be able to use it as a sleeping pillow. I would not recommend this product unless you want just a pillow. An it's only been one night so I don't even no how long it would even hold up using it for that. Small, soft, not as advertised.

As a result of injury, I prefer to sleep in an elevated position. This pillow, once “broken in”, has provided me with restful sleep & comfortable lounging while reading &/or watching TV.

When we got the pillow it was packaged in a huge box, but when I opened the box the pillow only filled a quarter of it. The pillow was not sturdy at all and not as pictured.

worthless as a reading pillow. has almost no stuffing and doesn't support anything. Would not buy again. Does not match images online
