Can't say enough!
I am a newly certified Dog groomer. Who graduated from an out of town grooming school, a 240 hour hands on course, practical and technical. From the start of January to mid February. There, I was supplied with clippers brushes, every thing a professional needed and of course nail trimmers by Resco, a guillotine style and a pliers style. Lets just say those guillotines now sadly lie in the trash it was so upset about the purchase it fell apart litterally. I can't believe I used those pieces of s***, Now this Andis trimmer, my god I knew Andis made good products. I have a decent set of AGC clippers myself given to me as a starter kit. But this is beyond what I was expecting, its so sharp it will cut over hanging fur along with nail, that's quality I love how this trimmer has a safety stop I've always struggled with nails, If I had this 2 months ago I probably wouldn't have quicked that poor fat obese King Charles I was doing. I never quicked a dog after that, but even so I struggled with the Resco, even the pliers look too tight and seem to crush nails. This I just get excited even talking about this, snaps off the nail clean off, no fraying no crushed nail nothing, it is kind of loud when you use it, so it sounds pretty powerful and its just a nice smooth even cut, I like how this trimmer has a safety feature on it, to assist you in nail trimming so you don't take too much off. All in all there I can't say enough good things about this trimmer. I am so glad I opted for this one rather than the Safari and I like Safari as well, A highly highly reccomended trimmer, for those who have given this a bad review get your eyes checked because quality was sitting in your hand before your stupid a$$ returned it. How hard is it to figure this thing out, its spring wasn't too tight it has a nice non slip rubber handle and what's this crap about the screw coming loose? Well if you didn't "screw" with it to begin with, it probably would have worked properly. Did they forget to switch their brain to on? Regardless of the negatives Great product Will buy again!

Best dog nail clipper on the market.
Dog nail clippes are a problem....some are too hard to see what you are doing, resulting in hurting your pet by clipping too deep. Others are cheaply made which results in an uneven cut or forcing you to use too much pressure, which can actually bend the nail back, also hurting your pet. This clipper is very solid, the blade is very sharp, giving you a very clean, quick cut. Also, the opening is quite large, allowing you to easily slip it over the nail and being able to see just how deep you are cutting. The handle is very comfortable to hold, and dies not slip in your hand, which is another thing that hard plastic or metal grips can do...resulting, again, in a hurt dog. The grip on this clipper is a rubber/plastic that is semi soft, so it is comfortable and does not slip. All in all, the very best clipper I've used. I had tried the kind that has the "light" that supposedly shows you it's ok to clip.....worthless. Light was constantly going from red to green, and told me nothing. I almost always either cut too deep or not deep enough. I trashed them, bought this one and could not be happier....and my dog doesn't fight me anymore when it's time to clip.Highly recommend this clipper.

sharp
It works great. My dogs nails are jet black. Can't see the quick at all. With that said this tool is sharp enough that it didn't split my dog's nails. I was able to cut back the nail a little at a time. She and I both did really well with this. Great price also.

Excellent dog nail clipper
I had a Guillotine clipper before this Andis. It sucked. The handles were too small for my large man's hand and I ended up pinching myselfon almost every cut. The cut often turned out ragged. The edges of the old clipperlooked sharp but weren't. The metal was cheap steel. The Andis has large handles. They fit nice in my large man's hands. The blades are shapedinto a crescent and cut the nails with no rough edges. The cutting edges are very sharp. The clipper has a safety plate on which you position the dogs nail. When positioned, the clipper will remove only about an 1/8th inch of nail. No more cutting into the quickand blood all over. The clipper is all stainless steel. It looks like it'll outlast my dog Foxy.Nice goin Andis, you make a simple tool that does the job very well. Amazon does an excellent job of handling the business end. My Andis clippers arrivedin 4 business days as promised.

Quality Product Easy to Use
After reading reviews for various animal nail clippers these clippers appeared (along with a reputable name of Andis) to be the best and the price was within reason. I have been taking my Jack Chi to the Vet to have her nails clipped and this was costing me $10 every several weeks because her nails grew fast. After a great deal of research and being extra careful I begin to clip her front paw nails and even though I was a nervous wreck, my Jack Chi looked at me calmly as I placed the blade in the proper location. It was a nice clean clip with no pulling or frayed edges. I proceeded to clip off the rest of the nails and not once did she bleed as she has done with the vet. I have to say with all honesty, this is an excellent product and as always, I received the product from Amazon.com within two days of ordering!

Quality has gone downhill
I purchased these exact nail clippers back in 2013 when I was in vet tech school and for 10 years they have been a great pair and worked wonderfully. I recently bought a second pair to be able to keep at my parents home so that I can clip the cat’s nails when I go over and don’t have to remember to take my own. This second pair you can tell the quality is not the same. The plastic handles feel cheaper and they are lighter and seem less sturdy. I tested them on my own cats nails and I swear the brand new ones are not as sharp as my 10 year old clippers. Overall they aren’t terrible clippers, but there are probably better ones out there. If I didn’t have the old ones to compare to I probably would have given them 4 stars at least.

Not great
These nail clippers were recommended by a rep at our clinic. They are sharp but do not cut the nails evenly and makes more work on us in the end. I do not recommend these to anyone.

These are bigger than I thought
The description made these sound like they were smaller. It’s fine though as my dog will be a larger size. I think these would be good for medium to larger maybe even extra large dogs.I like that the snipper heads don’t have super wide scissor bodies(not sure how to describe that, but some are super wide) and I find it hard enough to cut a dog’s nails as it is, so it’s nice that these are more narrow compared to some others n the market. I don’t like the guard plate that comes with it as I find that blocks my view of what I’m cutting, but most have this plate attached for safety.(I do have rather small hands, but hope the images help anyways)

Schlechteste Krallenschere, die ich je gekauft habe!
Die Krallenschere ist stumpf, unförmig geschliffen und absolut ungeeignet, einem Hund die Krallen zu schneiden.
