Not authentic Motorcraft coils
These coils fixed the misfire issue for about a year. When the problem came back, I ordered genuine Motorcraft coils directly from the Ford dealer. When I went to install them, I noticed that the coils I had previously ordered online looked different—even though both sets had the same part number. The OEM Motorcraft coils from Ford had the part number molded into the plastic, while the ones I bought online only had it painted on. I brought both sets—the ones from Ford and the ones purchased online—to the Ford dealer. The technicians showed me multiple genuine Motorcraft coils and explained the differences. They confirmed that the coils I bought online were not genuine Motorcraft parts. They even removed the springs from the boots and showed me that three of the six coils had different springs inside. Multiple Ford employees all agreed that the coils I bought online were 100% not authentic Motorcraft parts.

I was very skeptical about purchasing these from Amazon. $69.00 is a good deal almost to go to be true considering at a auto parts store they are $99.00. They work great so far definitely noticed a big improvement over the 12 year old factory ones. Didn’t realize they can slowly feed with age vibrations, or excessive heat without throwing an engine light. I would definitely buy these again. The only negative is one was partially opened. Not sure if it was opened during unpacking, but it was a razor blade cut. The others were unopened and legit.

F150 seems to require both coil packs and spark plug
Pretty easy install, had an issue with my F150, solved it with both a coil pack and spark plug change.
