Felt like a boss shutting down sector 12
Had your emotional subroutines removed? Got an unproductive sector? Fret no more! Shockwave is here to shut them down and toss those unproductive Decepticons over to Project Nemesis where they're needed. He's small enough to fit in your pocket so you can stroll around Cybertron with him to keep those other sectors in line. War for Cybertron reference aside.... PARENTS: This is an awesome little toy for young and adult Transformers fans. Shockwave is this character's name and he is one of the primary villains (Decepticon team) in the Transformer shows. He's basically 2nd in command to Megatron (the chief villain/antagonist). This Shockwave model is only 13 steps to transform, which may prove difficult for young children who are inexperienced with Transformer toys. For those children, I'd recommend the 1-step line of toys (Cybertron Adventures and Rescue Bots). My 4 year old has a lot of exposure to my complex Transformer collection, so he powers through 13 steps without a sweat. Note that the hand cannon is detachable, so be wary of losing this to the couch cushion abyss like the rest of your kid's toy accessories. Lastly, this is a "core class" figure, so it's relatively small at 3.5" when standing in robot mode. My opinion of this model is very positive. For such a small scale, the sculpting work is super detailed and it does a near perfect job of capturing Shockwave's "Gen1" appearance (except for the angry brow). His robot-mode transformation is engineered well, tight joints/pivots and no fear of breaking any brittle pieces. The alt-mode (a tank?) is acceptable, but I've no major complaints about either mode.

Awesome, Really Really Awesome
This character came out to somewhat of a disappointed crowd. It is the only Bumblebee movie figure that came as a smaller figure. It’s totally inaccurate to the movie size wise and is not compatible with the other Bumblebee movie figures. So if that’s a problem for you don’t buy it. But I honestly didn’t let that sway my opinion, this is an awesome figure especially for its size. It may not work with other figures canonically, but I’ve never had a problem setting it next to the other Bumblebee figures and pretending like Shockwave is just smaller than the other characters. The transformation is easy and creates a very cool looking little tank. I actually really like the figure and I leave it on my desk often to give me something to do with my hands. It’s a good starter transformer and it’s definitely not lacking in detail.

Tiny
It was a lot smaller than expected and since well you know it's a transformer, the first thing I tried to do with it right out of the box was transform it but, when I did his leg came right off and before you say anything I have plenty experience with transformers I own over 170 plus I was even following the instructions it just... came right off! Also the peg for the cannon to plug on seems way too strong and since it's so tiny I fear for breaking it whenever I do that step. Overall accuracy is on point, qc issues are there but not that bad, and it is a pretty nifty figure just didn't realize just how small a core class really is.

I am shocked.wav
This was my first Transformers figure in almost 20 years and I love him. With an easy transformation and great articulation for his size, he is so much fun to play with and makes a great desk toy for kids and adults, alike.

A little disappointing
Got this toy for my 6 year old son. The detail is incredible, but it seems to just transform into a blob (not without a lot of effort). Check out videos so you know what to expect.
