Of course it works
What can you say - it's Hoppe's! Love the products. They work, they're dependable, they continue to work.

Great for field cleaning or regular cleaning.
This cleaner is great for a quick clean up after the range if you don't have time to deep clean your firearms. It eats through all the carbon build up very well. For a quick clean, I'll wipe down my firearm, spray it on, wait 60 secs, then wipe everything down again. For a deeper clean, I'll repeat the same process but then continue on with my standard CLP style cleaners, brushes, rods, etc. I will say this - it's potent (see picture for chemical list). I definitely recommend using it outside or in a well-ventilated area.

Gets the job done well
I have used Hope’s different solvents and cleaners for over 25 years now. They work well and get the job done. This spray is strong, with plenty of cleaner in the can. Cost wise it stacks up to the other products on the market.

Great stuff BUT
Make sure you wear a face mask if you are doing this in an enclosed space. Cleans just as expected.

Works!
Easy to use, no heavy chemical smell. While it’s marketed as a “quick fix” for a jammed or dirty action I actually use it every time I clean my pistol. Spray it on the trigger group and carbon/powder residue dissolves and drips out. It evaporates quickly and leaves a this coat of lubricant. Good stuff.

PRICEY!
Works great but not good enough to warrant the price when cleaning at the house. Did everything I wanted it to do but since I was doing a comparison with other products it fell short for basic cleaning. Only because of price. The other products worked just as well but at half the cost. BTW, it only cleaned one. It also contains a lube which the others did not so that’s a plus. I will purchase another can for use in the field though because it seems to leave a residue behind that will protect for a short period of time. No it wasn’t carb cleaner that I compared it to, they were other like products.

Strong smelling.
Great stuff if you shoot 100rds or less you can just rinse off the grim. Strong cleaner smell but it dries pretty quick and really does the trick if you don’t wanna take you’re pistol apart. They make a cleaner that’s has a light lubricant and this was not that . I had to buy that separately.
