Good product, I wanted it to dye some satin shoes . Did a great job. And the colour was exactly as described . Would recommend.

I've used this due before many times and it's amazing for synthetic materials but I wasn't sure if it would dye PU fabric as its ess9pure plastic. To my surprise the dye came out PERFECTLY, just make sure to get the dye and water boiling, then turn down the temperature to a medium-low heat and put the clothes in. This stuff is awesome, no patchiness and super easy to use, I am a loyal fan of rit dye and I will die a loyal fan of this brand, chefs kiss.

i used this to dye my synthetic wig. it works however does leave stains on light clothing

Should have saved my money and bought a new parasol cover.......wasnt very clear in product description that the product needed to be boiled in water with the parasol cover to allow the die to take hold......was obviously concerned about boiling dye spills in the kitchen, as well as how to boil such a large quantity of liquid.........eventually managed to get a solution with a gas stove outdoors, but the fabric still didnt take the dye........its man made fabric, maybe nylon?.......but a complete waste of time and money

I wanted to dye my white polyester dress a different colour so I chose the midnight navy dye. It was super easy to use by just following the instructions on the packaging. I left my dress in to dye for an hour to get the darkest possible colour and I’m very satisfied. The dye seems to be even across the entire dress.

Overall- First Rit dye that I’ve used. A good golden yellow that mixed well with brown Rit dye. I was dyeing a number of items in blotches of brown and yellow. Dyes gave a much stronger colour on cotton, cotton/polyester and viscose mixes than they did on fur fabric. (I know fur fabric is a bit difficult!!)Not as simple as Dylon machine dye - but more versatile!Had to dye a large , cream, fake sheepskin coat - and other clothes - in ‘earth’ colours as a film prop.Result was great, even though I could not keep the coat at the recommended temperature throughout dyeing (too big for a pot on the stove), meaning that it was paler.
