Decent pager, but does not work below 440.4 MHz
I got this pager for use with DAPNET (Decentralized Amateur Paging Network), which mainly uses 439.9875 MHz, however, this pager does not work on that frequency. After extensive testing, I found out that the pager won't receive anything below 440.4 MHz, which is still technically within the 70cm amateur radio band in some countries (the USA, in my case), but the 440 range mostly has repeaters on it, which can make pager operations a bit difficult. Other than this issue, the pager seems to be a decent unit.

Its not new and is overpriced compared to other models
Bit dissapointed that when I opened the box after paying so much it did not include any of the things like the screen protector I expect to see with a new product. Was simple enough to get into the programming section but looks like there are much newer models that have larger screens and offer a lot more flexibility ( like GP2009N)

Not quite a A-25 replacement
Tried this to replace the older classic Apollo A25. It is smaller and seems lighter than the A25, but it lacks an important feature. It no longer has a vibrate mode. This is a deal breaker for use were a loud pager tone is not particularly welcome. Very disappointing, but will not be buying more of these.
