Extreme caution required.
You need to look at your existing Tensioner; in particular, it location and clearance/accessibility to its mounting nut. I didn't do this and I'm not I could've avoided what happened next. My OEM Tensioner has a nice profile to it so you are able to use a Tensioner tool to loosen and remove it. This Doorman is version does not. They just buried the nut in a hole so once it was installed I had no way to torque it. Finger tight and about half a turn till I could no longer reach it with any normal tools you would use for this job. Had to search the Internet for a special ratching, articulating wrench with a special, a few mm socket interface that sticks out from the wrench. So, my I just spent $55 for the wrench and praying that the bolt doesn't back out while I wait for delivery. This is classic inexperience engineer BS. Not understanding the critical dimensions and features of an OEM part that must be transferred to the new design. Not cool Doorman... I thought better of you. Update 1/01/2026: Looks like my tensioner survived. My special wrench came in. I was able to torque the bolt properly. Bumping up the rating to 3 stars. It cost me some money to install the tentioner, but after seeing and using that wrench, I'm pretty happy; it's a great tool.
