Donda Deluxe

So yeah, I got this on a good discount, it was about 9 dollars and 78 cents. I was pretty excited considering the fact this banger has 32 songs on it, making that deal pretty cheap. Once it arrived, there was only like 2 slight cracks on the case, but the CD played real perfect, no scratches, no skips at all, just another wonderful album. My personal favorite of this album is Life Of The Party. I like how catchy Andre and Kanye's verse are. The flow and production on this song is amazing. I also love the beat. Close ones are Jail PT. 2, Believe What I Say, Off the Grid, Junya PT. 2 or Praise God. But I have to agree that No Child Left Behind has the best and most beautiful beat out of this album. I didn't skip a single song, not even Donda Chant, maybe I skipped Tell The Vision. Also it's 2 hours and about 20 minutes of a masterpiece. Once you see it for that price, you should get it.

Amazing album Ts is peak

This review is for the CD version. Amazon has Disc 1 with 19 songs and Disc 2 with 15 songs. Actually Disc 1 is 18 songs and Disc 2 is 14 songs. The mistakes are on Disc 1, track 13 is “God Breathed” and Disc 2, track 1 is “Keep My Spirit Alive”. They have both of these tracks listed as two songs each. Also for anyone wondering about the artwork and booklet. There’s no artwork or booklet. It’s just a plain black square for the front and back with no songs, Donda or Kanye West listed anywhere. Besides his website. Both discs are just black. The only writing is basically Def Jam, Good Music and 2021. I knew this ahead of time, I just wanted to warn other buyers. Also “Life of the Party” is the clean version and “Come to Life Pt. 2” is missing from the CD version.

I was very happy to get it on sale. The vinyl and boxset came in perfect condition and doesn’t skip or sound weird. If you’re looking to get it I would recommend buying it here. Shipped fast and in sturdy packaging. The only downside I have about this is the individual sides not being labeled or having a track list included. I added custom stickers of my own to be able to tell what vinyl has what on it. A little annoying but what can you do. Love it overall

I recall when Kanye West emerged in the fall of 2003 with "Through the Wire". I didn't think much of him at the time. It took many years for him to sell me on his music, but eventually I came around about the time he released "808's & Heartbreak" in 2008. Since that time, I have bought up all of his albums, and I'd say his career has definitely been uneven. I think his last decent album was 2013's "Yeezus". After that? Well.... "Donda" has too many problems to be a classic Kanye West album. First off, 27 tracks is excessive. This dilutes the power of the good songs buried within this album. If he had just stuck with the golden rule of less is more, "Donda" might have been received more positively. I counted 12 tracks that should have made up the album. They are: 1. Jail 2. God Breathed 3. Off the Grid 4. Hurricane 5. Praise God 6. Ok Ok 7. Junya 8. Believe What I Say 9. Moon 10. Jesus Lord 11. Lord I Need You The rest of the tracks are either middling or pointless. In fact, he did not need to tack an extra 22 minutes onto an already long album by having four songs recur at the very end of it. So, one star subtracted for giving us an overly long bloated disorganized sprawling album. The next issue is that there aren't really any memorable songs here. There's nothing here that grabs you and keeps running through your brain. The songs I listed above are good, but not great. Additionally, most of the songs only make sense sporadically. The lyrics here are all over the place, and most of the time their were brief passages that registered and made sense. Much of what's on here is Kanye West's personal thoughts about things he thinks about using his mindset and language. This means he shut out most of us in terms of identifying with what he is rapping about. So, for me, Kanye's last four albums, "Donda", "Jesus is King", "Ye" and to a lesser extent, "The Life of Pablo" have either been too short or too long, unfocused, bizarre, or aloof to the point where they haven't made much of an emotional impact. Sure, there's been a track here or there on them, but overall, not his best work. And so we wait...... Cette Album est un Album hommage à sa maman qui l'aura accompagné dans de nombreux projets et présent pour son fils. Un très bel album et toujours extrêmement différent comme tout ses autres albums d'ailleurs. Quoi qu'il se dise Kanye est un un Artiste de talent point. Magnifique Album un de plus. Article écrit en 2025 mais l'ayant acheté à sa sortie.

Ye’s Magnus opus. A beautiful commemoration to his late mother Donda full of lovely songs. Some hard runs like ‘Off the Grid’ and ‘Heaven and Hell’, and more gospel like ‘Jesus Lord’ and ‘24’. People complain about the length but it’s a very enjoyable listening experience especially on vinyl. I got an amazing price at 75 so if you can get it before it goes back to 150+
