GET IT!! I bought this to have my daughter help me in the kitchen. I am amazed by how well it cuts without it cutting skin. It's strong and worth the money. I like that it gives 3 different sizes so she has options. The different color is a cute touch as well, it also has a nice grip so it won't slip out of her hand when using

It's really safe and easy to hold and clean. Haven't had it long but they get the job done without worrying about your child's safety. The only bas thing is the hand held cutter holds water after washing and you'd worry it has mold if not cleaned and dried correctly

They are plastic. Yes. However. They really do cut. The plastic material is light. So my uncle who has arthritis can also use them. Perfect sizes. Great deal. And easy to wash with soap and water. We will be getting more “kid friendly” kitchen tools for both my elderly uncle and my disabled son who loves to help in the kitchen

These are wonderful. I bought them for my then 3 year old daughter - who is now four years old and loves to use this set still after one year has gone by! She always likes to help in the kitchen. She is very mature and listens well, so when she expressed she wanted to help mommy more in the kitchen I researched the possible products online and found this set. I trust her completely with this kids knife product- under my supervision of course!I found a lot of different kids knife sets, and I wanted to find a knife that she could use while helping me in the kitchen that would not require me having to stand on top of her, and be super nervous that she is going to cut her finger off. These work great! They cut, but are not really sharp enough to cut the skin. I mean if you start sawing on your arm, yeah it is going to scratch the skin. Otherwise I think they are very safe. She loves to be able to really help with chopping instead of just having to pretend. We started with soft fruits, like strawberries, bananas, and then worked our way to more dense vegetables like cucumbers and tomatoes.Overall I would highly recommend these! However I would not recommend them for a super young child that is not a good listener, or who doesn't understand what knives are used for, and that they can still potential hurt someone or themselves. Honestly, this is a wonderful starter kit for any child who wants to help with cooking. Not only starting children young in the kitchen to help, teaches them responsibility, independence, and hand eye coordination. Give them a try!

And they’re even sharp enough to cut through fruits and some veggies. Because they are sharp enough to cut through food, they can cut through skin. Just be present with your kids and help them so that there are no injuries. They look cute and have cute colors. They’re easy to clean as well!
