The Taylor Swift Holiday Collection

Arrived in perfect condition, not a single flaw in the cd. arrived quickly too. im so happy to finally have the holiday album in my Taylor swift CD collection.

Shipping was great, received on time and without damage. Daughter is very excited, she didn't know that Taylor Swift had a Christmas album. She's a 13-year-old Swifty.

AMAZING CONDITION. A little cracked but it was $6 and extremely old. Cd works great.

Amazing gave to my grandson

In recent years, the late George Michael's "Last Christmas" has become my favorite Christmas song, religious or secular. Taylor Swift opens her "Holiday Collection" with a very nice version of it, the best I've heard after his. The only thing that prevents me from giving this album 5 stars is that Taylor changes "Silent Night" a little bit. I just don't think that's a song that can be re-interpreted. She should have just showcased her voice in doing it its original way. She also slightly re-interprets "White Christmas", though not as much as "Silent Night". The two songs she was involved in writing, "Christmas Must Be Something More", which she wrote alone, and particularly "Christmases When You Were Mine", are quite good songs. I like her "Santa Baby" better than Madonna's. The CD is only about 20 minutes long and is definitely worth a listen at this time of year.

Swifty does it, again. It's impossible for her to put out bad music. Sure, there are only six songs on this album; but quantity does not equal quality. Taylor should be commended for her integrity in never stuffing filler songs in her albums. Songs: 1. "Last Christmas" starts the album off with a bang! (or should I say Wham!?;) Taylor's cover of George Michael's holiday classic has a more upbeat tempo and fun, rock and roll edge along with a tongue-in-cheek gender turn, but still perfectly conveying her persona of heart-on-her-sleeve vulnerability. 2. "Christmases When You Were Mine". First of the two new Taylor songs on this album slows down the mood. The usual great lyrics from team Swift/Rose in a monologue to a broken-up lover and the Christmas memories they shared. 3. "Santa Baby". Playing the materialistic vixen perfectly. I like the tongue-in-cheek allusion, "one more thing I need, the deed, to a platinum mine". Judging by the number of platinum albums she has, I'd say TayTay's got that covered. 4. "Silent Night". Beautiful, spiritual, uplifting. Perfect song for her voice. Like an angel singing. 5. "Christmas Must Be Something More". The other new Taylor song, upbeat tempo, worth the price of the entire album. Taylor gets a lot of inspiration from fairy tales, this one's from the Dr. Seuss classic "The Grinch That Stole Christmas", but of course, putting her own unique spin: "So here's to the birthday boy who saved our lives". Taylor's not afraid to show her spiritual, Christian values here, where she downplays the commercialism and materialism that Christmas has become (in stark contrast to track 3 "Santa Baby"). The great artists, like Taylor Swift, remind us of the Truth with their art. 6. "White Christmas". Nice quiet, peaceful ending with this classic.

Bien pues que podemos esperar de esta cantante, bueno pues este es un disco que consta de 2 canciones originales y 4 canciones para un total de 6 pistas, asi es, 6 canciones para un cd que le pueden caber hasta 20 canciones aproximadamente y la pregunta es: ¿y es bueno el disco? Para alivio de los swifties y del coleccionista de discos navideños y para la gente en general el disco es un gran hit, es maravilloso, claro tiene su toque en las canciones que escribio, se nota que estaba muy verde cuando las compuso, una habla de amor adolescente y otra sobre la importancia de la navidad, que tierna, aunque claro para ese entonces apenas tenia 18 o 19 años, asi que era de esperarse esas canciones que son muy buenas, no estan aburridas. En el resto de las canciones, quedan 4 covers de canciones navideñas que como siempre hemos escuchado ya hasta morir y pues cada quien se queda con su version favorita pero en el caso de taylor, estas composiciones valen la pena, canta bien y suenan bien, sin duda alguna es un disco digno de ser parte de la coleccion de musica navideña en general, no solo es una compra obligada para los swifties sino para el publico en general, seria bueno que le hicieran una version expandida para mas placer, seguro taylor lo mejora aun mas aunque el disco ya es perfecto. Totalmente recomendado y eso que no soy swifti, solo un fanatico de la musica navideña que gusta de coleccionar discos de navidad y que atesorara este album en su coleccion y lo recomiendo sobre otros discos como el de alicia keys, gwen stefani o joss stone que para gustos los colores pero de plano taylor si demuestra por que ha sido la gran cantante de los ultimos 10 años...

L'album en lui-même est très bon, mais ça je le savais déjà (merci iTunes). L'achat de cet album n'a été fait que pour le fait de le posséder. Conseillé à tout amateur de Taylor Swift :) Au niveau de l'envoi, le CD a mis près de trois semaines à arriver, et il est arrivé dans un bon état. (des micro-rayures sur le plastique, pas de rayures/casses dues à la pression).
