Very sharp, holds an edge well. Good length and weight. Great for its price!

I bought this knife to practice my sharpening and honing skills so I wouldn't ruin my more expensive knives. It's nearly identical in shape to my Victorinox and it's made of the better-quality German steel most of my knives are made out of. I've abused the edge many times on a brick and it always sharpens up very nicely. All-in-all this seems like a quality knife for a bargain price so I'm giving it 5 stars.

It came sharp, but I sharpened it on my whetstone as soon as I got it, and this thing is like a razor blade now. I love it! At this price point, the quality is truly impressive.

Very sharp from the factory. Cheap enough to have several and not worry about ruining the blade. I have two full knife sets with the storage block which I only use two of the knifes from the set so buying additional chefs knife was a must.
