I had a wall mounted two bulb security light that had ceased to work. I decided to replace it with a more durable, more aesthetically pleasing unit. I picked this unit out because of the design and for having a glass lens instead of plastic. This is a heavy unit, and my only complaint is the mounting method. I had to purchase an all purpose round crossbar device to attach it to my set in brick box. I also had to drill holes through the back of this fixture, using a step drill bit. Once that was done, connection was straightforward. I used Wago lever connectors to connect the wires. The dusk to dawn feature words very well, and the illumination is awesome.

Works great lots of light if you have neighbors across the alley or across the street may look for another light. It does cast light out, but I do like it.

As an electrician I can tell these lights have a very good build quality. They have an integrated bubble level. I had to drill my own holes for a single gang ring it comes ready for octagon boxes.

I bought this 120 watt fixture to replace a lesser wattage fixture that stopped working. This fixture was about $20 more expensive than the last one I bought/installed. But, this one is noticeably better quality all around and worth the extra money without question. -you get what you pay for on this. Very, very well built light fixture. Easy to hang, photocell on the side works PERFECTLY (comes on & off at perfect times as it should). Brightness is wonderful as well. My only reason for not putting up a 5 star review is the light broadcasted from this fixture is much more of a downward projection than outward. I wish there were a way to adjust this. The ground underneath this fixture is super bright, but... 35 yards out away from the wall it is mounted on is only lit up from the reflection off the ground and building. It does light up the area decently because of the brightness, but with a better designed reflector it would be way more effective. Please advise me if there is a way to correct this part for me. (can I bend the chrome reflector inside the fixture to reflect the light more outward? Thank you!! (sorry for no picture. I will try to get one and add to this if possible)

This is a commercial grade light. It worked exactly as expected and was an easy install. Lot's of light, water tight and looks great!

The first light delivered stayed on all the time. The motion sensor didn't work. The seller sent me another one. It works, but the motion sensor has some functional problems because it is so sensitive that rain and snow turn the light on. The seller offered to send me a remote that they said could be used to lower the lux sensitivity. All I had to do was pay the $50 shipping fee. I passed on that offer and am not sure why the remote wasn't included with the light in the first place. I have ordered a separate extension cord with a built in switch so I can turn the light off during bad weather. I don't recommend this light if you plan to use it with the motion sensor. Update: The seller contacted me and offered two options to fix this issue. They also said they are considering adding a remote option for this version of the light in the future. I appreciate their efforts to make this right and have updated my review from two to five stars.

As other reviewers have commented, the unit is certainly well built and appears very robust. I also very much like the glass lens, rather than the polycarbonate lens which unlike the glass lens tend to yellow with time. Whilst I have not installed the unit yet, I have bench-tested it and integrated it and the dimming feature into my home automation system (Home Assistant) using a Shelly Dimmer 0/1-10V PM Gen3. At 15k lumens it is also super-bright when un-dimmed. Having the dimming option makes the unit much more versatile, and so is a very welcome feature of this unit. All in all very impressed with the unit so far. The supplier has also been super helpful, promptly answering a query I had on the instruction manual which on page 4, step 8 requires the removal of the waterproof lugs (which if you are installing externally, you should not as this clearly would compromise the unit's waterproof qualities). I genuinely recommend this product and the supplier based on my experience.

UL, cUL Electrically Certified! (which is rare for electrical items on Amazon.). Very good construction, with multiple mounting options, as well as multiple electrical openings available for routing your electrical wires from any side, bottom, or back. Super bright, at 14,700 lumens at 2 inches, (which is actually the first light I have tested that even comes close to its claimed output.) 1,200 -1,300 lumens at 20 feet, which lights up the surrounding area nicely. The motion detection module uses radar, rather than infra-red. This makes it much more sensitive to motion, and actually detects movement behind objects, unlike infrared that requires line of sight to activate it. The module has adjustments to the 'always ON', (at night), dimness; from OFF to 30% brightness. The module also has a setting dial for the length of time the brightness is at 100% after seeing motion. The detection was flawless; I couldn't sneak up on this, even coming from behind a corner to the side set it off. Super bright illumination, covering a very large parking area, or yard. I set the dimness to 10%, which is still bright enough to see everything around the area. Two things of note: It did not come with any kind of waterproof junction box connectors, you will have to use conduit or find a suitable waterproof connector that fits. The second thing is that the reflective plate on the inside is VERY fragile; it scratches easily, and trying to clean off a fingerprint resulted in a patch of scratches. You need to remove that reflective shield to connect the wires. Wearing cotton or vinyl gloves when you are handling the shield should help in reducing damage.

i would give this product 5 stars, but the Sensitivity of the Sensor for the light is TOO GOOD in my opinion as it picks up even the very slightest movement. A cat in back yard walking by picked it up, a small bird few far off in garden, that triggered the sensor and it seemed to come on "just before" i got around the corner of my house, like it would detect that as well. This is Great for " some " places you would want to install. but for me in a tighter area with neighbours very close on all sides i found it would be too much. I will use it up in Cabin area instead where a more constant triggering of the sensor would not be bothersome to persons. The light is super bright and casts a beautiful and full bright light that floods the area of which you direct it very nicely. It was not too hard to assemble it and install. to assemble you just open with 2 screws on front, then the glass front plate can be opened to one side as it is on hinges, but. you can also remove it to finish the inside as the hinges are not held in place. Inside there is a very THIN metal plate that is held by two more screws, you remove that then screw the sensor into it and attach it to the sensor wiring plug. that is about it. There are no pre-drilled holes in back of this light but all the spaces where you would / could need to put them to fit your specific electrical box are spaced out for you to see and use on the back of the fixture. These are easily drilled out with little effort with a good drill. Overall i fantastic light with a super sensitive sensor. i would recommend this product, but i would not for a residential home unless you will use it where your neighbours would not be bothered by its brightness and its sensitivity. It’s very well made, even has its own little mini level inside of it to help you install correctly!
