SKYLINKKN-318 Keyless Entry System

I bought it for my Skylink Atom Chain garage opener. I only give it four stars because the package box was broken when I received it. I doubt if it is a new product or a refurbished one. But any way the keyboard remote itself is pretty good. The installation is very easy. But I need to bring it close to my garage opener to match them. After matching the remote can be installed outside the garage without any problem.I also noticed that some reviewer said his remote didn't last the winter. I will see how it worked this winter and may update my review later.Updated Review:I have used the remote through the first winter in Canada. So far it works very well. But I do notice that the door opener may not response if the time between two inputs is very short. For example, if you use the keypad to open your garage door, then you need to wait a few seconds before using it to close the door. I didn't measure exactly how long I need to wait, but 30 seconds or longer might work.

First off, if you want to use this, be aware you need to buy a Skylink MK-1 receiver. As long as you have that or a Skyline opener you are golden. Super simple instructions, easy to program AND IT COMES IN BLACK!That was honestly the main selling point, all the other opener keypads on the market are some kind of grey or beige. I wanted black and this is the only one I could find so I happily paid the extra to get an MK-1 kit so I could use this and I'm very happy with how well it works.

This is a review after 2 years of using this. This was easy to install but the remote only works half the year - only when the weather is warm. When the weather is cold this remote doesn’t work! I don’t know why! We can’t use this remote during cold weather which is really stupid. It’s a real problem.

Not great, instructions are vague. I haven’t been able to set it up to operate the atom garage opener, I’ve followed the instructions, watched the YouTube videos on programming and still haven’t had much luck

My fault I had to replace it(washed door with 30 second cleaner). Real easy to install and program. Thank you Skylink for such an awesome keypad.
