The size and clarity of this speaker is great for the price especially.

Amazing bass from an 8" driver.

Slick, compact, powerful, pet-friendly down-fitting woofer. Almost great. It's not wireless, which I don't mind. You can always adapt it. It's also the smallest sub from Klipsch. Unfortunately, there is no soft power down. When the signal cuts off, there is a pop. Maybe it's my speakers, but those are Klipsch the Fives. This should not be happening! Oh, the low bass is powerful. Keep it at 80hz- it is not punchy. Even though it's effective and easily overpowers a room, it's relying on excursion of the smaller woofer. Therefore, bass heads living in open barns should size up. This unit's Achilles heel is dynamics (and punch, thus keep it crossed over low for lots listening). It still will put down way more rumble than you need-and as much as anyone should probably want. To be fair, I find I turn it down for most movies and shows-almost never up. I've never had a problem with to much bass for any music-not even old school 90s Miami bass rap.

I haven't needed to max it out. Great sound, I have mine on its side. You can do that. It's beautiful.

Came a day early! I have this 8” subwoofer connected to a Klipsch Flexus Core 100 sound bar on a 75” Roku TV.. My living room is about 12’ x 18’ and I have the speaker sitting in the corner about 8’ away from the sound bar. I wasn’t sure if 8” would be enough subwoofer but it is more than adequate! I have had to adjust the cut-off khz and turn the volume down. When the intro sounds for just about any movie on TCM comes on, this little sub shakes my house. Very pleased with my purchase.

Wow, what a great product. My entire family room is filled with such a rich bass that if I had ordered a larger one, it would have been too much. So, it's a perfect addition to my entertainment center.

In my opinion it's a great subwoofer for a small place , ad. Great price . I recommend.

It was easy to set up. The Crossover & Gain knobs allow you to dial in to match the music or movie you are watching. We are now hearing the lower end even with classic vinyl records that we never heard before.

Dopo circa 20 giorni di utilizzo e rodaggio, posso scrivere la recensione di questo subwoofer Klipsch R8-SW. Molto compatto e facile da posizionare e installare negli ambienti La spedizione è stata velocissima e il pacco era molto bene imballato (sintomo di serietà da parte del venditore). Il sub arricchisce molto il suono, riempiendo con sostanza le basse frequenze. Era proprio quel che cercavo per il mio impianto HiFi (composto da due casse a torre). Consigliato!

I had a 20 year old subwoofer that I thought was "good enough" because I thought my hearing was going anyway. This subwoofer with the matching Bookshelf speakers BLOWS ME AWAY. The clarity is amazing even on ultralow bass notes while what I thought was hearing loss abruptly vanished. Midranges are crisp and undistorted and I can barely crank the sub up past 1 on the knob without it actually becoming visceral enough to vibrate a solid concrete high rise apartment. Once you find the right EQ and Levels these speakers outperform anything else I've ever owned.

Muy buen subwoofer, toda mi confianza a la marca klipsch, tengo cinema 400 y es una chulada, sobre todo, los graves y es el mismo subwoofer. Sin embargo, este lo conecte a un equipo 7.1 Onkyo y no se oyó igual. Pienso que es necesario uno más potente, con más watts. Y tal vez, de 10 pulgadas. Tuve que regresarlo. Pero tiene unos bajos muy limpios, nítidos y potentes.

Yes exactly what I was expecting “ the keepers of the sound” indeed but I will update at a later date to see how it behaves with time and use 😉
