Brilliant little machine, will decarb 14g at a time perfectly. Not completely smell proof but wasn't expecting it to be.Haven't used it to infuse butter/oil yet because I don't fancy it getting messy, that's not to say I won't give it a go in the future.Very happy at the price, easy to use, pleasing to look at and decent build quality.Recommend it as a more affordable machine than the flashier Magic Butter alternative

Because I don't like having to return products that don't deliver on their promises, I did some research before parting with my hard earned cash.The company website supports stuff I read about the science of the relationship between time and temperatures in conjunction with the often disastrous diy method of using an oven.Ovens have horrible hysteresis (graph of best and worst temperature fluctuations with time) but they do a their intended job well, keeping the temperature fluctuations within 10s of degrees.This device only has to heat up a small volume and is software controlled which means the hysteresis should only be a degree or two.Obviously, understanding what the three settings are for is key to its successful use but at least you can have faith that the actual temperature inside the mini-oven being at the intended temperature for the intended time.In summary:Its compact, well designed, easy to use and more importantly clean.Its simplifies the process of getting great results in the kitchen.It justifies its price compared to hit and miss oven temperatures and guess work.The bags can be washed by scrubbing them with a squirt of neat washing up liquid to emulsify the butter before rinsing with hot water. So you can reuse or bulk buy some more bags of a similar size via Amazon.

I bought this to make my own infused butter as decarbing in the oven and then infusing the butter on the hob was a bit of a chore. Decarbing was really simple, as was the butter infusing proccess. In the box you get a few cheese cloth bags for your "herb" so no straining is required after infusion. Butter came out potent and made some great cookies.The only downside to this particular product is that the container is not removable. You have to tip the entire thing upside down to get the butter out. Other similar products have a removable insert you can take out once you are finished making it easier to extract all butter/oil from it and also makes cleaning much easier. But this is considerably cheaper so I guess its a tradeoff.If anyone is looking for a decarb/infuser on a budget i would say this is well worth a buy.

The product is neat and sturdy and made a satisfactory job of 'decarb'. It makes the job so much easier than trying to manage stable temps in a conventional oven. Out of curiousity, I checked the temp & on/off cycles which didn't appear quite as manufacturing specs' but as previously said it did the job well.I always have concern for electrical safety regarding electrical products; I checked for voltage earth leakage with a multimeter, by attaching a probe to the inner metal sleeve of the oven and the other to earth. It showed the switching cycle on/off to be about 10 seconds, however, there was a leak to earth of approx up to 40v, I need not have been concerned (Please see update addition below) ~ With normal use the unit should not be operated/switched on with the top cap off.My personal use would be just to use the oven for Decarb' I prefer to infuse using a 'bein marie', this would give lighter use for the oven.In conclussion I would purchase the oven again. The three year guarantee makes it a good economical buy. Please see my update below.27th 09/23 Further to my concerns regarding safety, I have been in contact with Helen who has sent me full documentation of independant certified test reports on the 'Herb oven' I am satified regarding my safety concerns, that this product conforms to European safety standards. I can happily recommend the product to all.11/10/23I recently again contacted 'Herboven' Customer services for some help & advice. I immediately had a reply from Helen who advised me on matters. Their 'after sales' service is second to none. A happy customer.

I’ve been using this very successfully for the past few months when I want to get my medicine ready to infuse with. It does the job beautifully every time and it’s so much less smelly than decarbing in a conventional oven.It doesn’t take up much space at all and it takes the guess work out of everything. I’ve been decarbing for a long time now and this has been a game changer.Also when I needed some help with the product customer service sorted everything out for me very quickly, no questions asked. Make sure that you keep hold of the instructions booklet as that’s where the customer service email is located.

i love this and use it all the time it is stinky though lol
