First one got a short in it after light use, replacement cable is going strong after a little over a month of consistent use. I’m too scared to bend or coil it up though so it stays straight. Not sure if the first one I got was just faulty. I’ll update if this one gets a short too. Works well with the Shure mv7.

Update ... Seller contacted me and sent me another cable. Works fine, does what it suppose to do. Good build qualitybtw. Literally doesn’t work on anything. iPhone, iPad, MacBook, Dell laptop. Doesn’t charge or transmit data.

I wanted an affordable yet audiophile grade cable - to connect my older iPhone (6S+) to a Qudelix 5K DAC/amp for music listening. I tried another “advertised solution” that did not work. The connections fit - and all seemed correct - but there was no audio presented to the 5K. After verifying all the settings in the hardware involved, I decided to try procurement of a different cable. Scanning the many offerings here - I focused on any cable reviews having the words “DAC” or “Qudelix”. To my surprise, I found this cable specifically mentioned my search terms. Being 4’ long, and having a “competent”reviewer describing what appeared to be an identical use scenario similar to what I had in mind - I ordered 1 to try it out. I was interested in reverting back to a “wired” solution, in hopes of gaining some amount of improved sound fidelity over the typical B/T transmission. As I stated, the cable length is ideal. I have a small patch of Velcro adhering my Qudelix 5K to the outside of my left headphone cup, so that the lightning/USB-C cable can reach it nicely - routed from the iPhone tucked away in my front pants pocket. Then a short 3.5mm jumper connects the 5K output directly into my headphone input jack. Yes - all components mentioned could be used via B/T (BlueTooth) instead, (eliminating most of the cable connections) But to assure that the music is transmitted with the best quality possible and least amount of noise, artifacts, or distortion - there’s nothing like a well made cable. So convenience is still an option, if I want to go back to some version of “wireless” - but when I want to enjoy every Hz of sound with its originally intended purity - I get wired. This is a good cable. It is well made, and seems like it should last. The length is perfect for the application and the pricing is competitive. So I recommend it. It is the best bang for buck I have found to date.

The cable sometimes doesn’t work at all, other times it’s very crackly and pops. It sucks! I didn’t use it much and when I did I realized how terrible the quality of the sound was. I also missed the return window. Overpriced piece of junk

So to my surprise I find out this cable works like the Apple camera dongle. I was looking for a slim cable to connect my FX30 via micro usb to my iPhone’s lighting port to use the Monitor+ App to use my phone as a cinema camera monitor. Apparently you can wire directly from camera to iPhone but you need Apples camera adapter dongle to do that. As you can see from the pictures the white cable is Apples $30 dongle connected to a usb A to micro usb cable. Well I didnt like the white color and the fat adapter and the extra cable to plug into. I need everything compact and short. Well this Meenova cable is super slim and it amazingly works out of all the cables I tried. Seller should advertise it as a camera to ios dongle instead because it works great. The only thing is its too short and it wont reach to connect to my phone unfortunately. I al still keeping it and I will be ordering the 1 foot one which is too long for my needs but batter than using an adapter extension with the shorter one. I wish the manufacturer made the exact same cable but right angled on both ends to the cable doesn't stick out when holding my cinema camera. They could be selling this to Sony camera owners. I’ve tried looking everywhere for a short cable supporting ios camera connection with 90 degree right angle plugs and no one sells anything like that.

I bought this cable to attach my iPhone to a FiiO BTR5-2021 so I could use real headphones with it. Sure, AirPods are easy to use, but AAC compression over Bluetooth leaves something to be desired, iOS/iPadOS doesn't support alternative Bluetooth codecs, and Lightning to Stereo Miniplug cables almost always resample music to 44.1khz. None of these caveats are conducive to critical listening, so USB is the only sane answer here. Of course, Apple being Apple, the Lightning to USB-C charge cable that came with your phone won't do the trick, so you need this. It works. It'll pump high-resolution digital audio out of an iPhone (or Lightning iPad) into an outboard USB DAC without resampling the bitstream. I wish I didn't need it, but that's what I get not switching to Android. It's also somewhat less expensive than the equivalent product from FiiO, so if you gotta buy one, it might as well be this one!

The cable for my iRig HD 2 stopped working properly. This is an odd micro USB to lightning cable that is not common. This cable worked great as a replacement!

Does the job…

Expensive but does the job as stated. Had a little use in the beginning with delivery updates but after speaking with Amazon's C.C who in tu n alerted the seller, who alerted the delivery team and from then on I was receiving regular updates.

Works great with iPhone and my portable DAC, removing the need for the bulky Apple Camera dongle set up. This provides a simple, elegant solution for listening to hi-res lossless music via a portable DAC on Iphone.
