Nice model for a modern HO Scale layout
I found this model relatively easy to assemble. The directions are a little vague but a reasonably experienced model builder will have no issue. I built mine in about an hour, allowing dry time for key components. I would recommend some detailing and painting to make it come alive. In its initial form it is plastic looking but with some detailing it looks real good. I put a figure in mine as an operator which worked well. I would recommend this model.

Lift it!
This is a nice 1/87 ho scale plastic model of a Kalamar top handler. It has to be assembled. Instructions are ok, since I drove these for over 20 years I made some changes. This is actually a forklift / top pick. It will do 20 ft and 40 ft containers. I made it a top handler only. It will go up to 3 containers high and low enough to take a container off a chassis, or container flat car. The boom tilts fwd and back. It comes with little metal ball bearings that you glue into the bottom rear so if you want to hang a container off it, it won’t tilt fwd. It is a nice addition to you container yard scene or just display. Not recommended for young kids. It is fragile, and if played with it will break. Static model only

These are great kits to model intermodal operations at a large or small rail yard on your HO layout. Bought 2 at a great price.
