Great for single notes, brighter sound compared to my Hohner Blues Harp. They compliment each other to give me a fair range.

I have bought several less expensive hermanicos, And they were all built like crap. This Hermonica is built very well,, very sturdy, and very good... Because it is rounded up instead of square it does not Get caught in my moustache wall plain it. It's sounds beautiful. So for a few bucks more This instrument really shines. Would I buy it again ? Yes sir baby!

I bought this as a first harp for my daughter's 30th birthday. She finally asked me to teach her how to play. Golden Melody's are excellent harps to begin with as well as continue playing well after you've become a proficient player. The sound is clean and warm, more so than a Hohner Marine Band. They fit the hand well and have rounded corners so, cupping with or without a bullet mic is very comfortable, especially for longer playing time. 100% would recommend for beginners, intermediate and expert players.

I'm a beginner and all the reach I did suggested buying this brand to start with. I am completely satisfied with the sound of it and the weight of it. It's really well built!

It is like having a little band in your pocket. So much fun when you are waiting somewhere stuck... to whip it out and practice. Easy to take... fun to play...

I am an advanced beginner. I purchased this Golden Melody because I was curious about the tuning and sound quality. I have found both to be very good. I really love playing this harmonica for single note playing songs. The sound is pure. It bends and overblows pretty well and I think the quality is stout. It also is somewhat weaker on the chords. The biggest draw back is that the shape makes it difficult to hold in a traditional way and feel comfortable - at least for me. That dent in the cover, intended to make it more comfortable to hold does just the opposite. Maybe if this is the only type you play it would feel natural, but I have 6 other harps with a traditional shape so when I switch to this one I have to consciously adapt my left hand position, its annoying. However, I still play it for certain songs because of its "Golden" tones.

It arrived in a good timing manner and it's a Honer so it sounds wonderful
