Instructions are inadequate! See my review for clarification.
I've only just had this product delivered and it seems to work very well, but only after I had to do a bit of research to clarify how it works! The instructions are not very clear and various functions aren't covered. I hope this review will help others.First I was slightly nervous because all previous reviews have been from Vine reviewers, and I'm never quite sure if they are truly unbiased. The only non-Vine review was a one-star.But I took the plunge anyway, and so far I'm glad I did.So here are my tips to help you understand the product more quickly.1. Reference is made to a headset icon on your phone. My phone is a <1yr old Google Pixel 4a, and there was no icon. Still works though.2. The mic head is connected to the base unit by what looks like a flexible cable. I bent this and it made an ominous snapping noise - but it still works. Go easy with yours.3. Once connected, my phone tells me that a wired headset is connected - but doesn't automatically switch to it. You need to select that from the options.4. The 'recording' button on the unit is more like a mute button. Only press this if you don't want your words to be recorded. There is a discreet double flash to indicate that it's been pressed. (When I first read about this I thought it would be a dictaphone function, but it's not.)5. Don't press the button on the receiver thing. It's a reset button, not an on/off. The thing is always on, once plugged in.6. You need to charge the microphone but NOT the receiver, which gets its power from the phone.7. It's not clear how you will know when the battery runs low. Maybe the charging light will flash - it's not stated in the instructions.8. The USB adapter is for your laptop, if you want to record that way.9. There's no way of telling what the volume control on the mic is doing unless you plug in wired headphones. Then you can hear what you're saying - in stereo - and a voice tells you the volume level if you press one of the buttons. This is quite useful as you'll know for sure if you're on mute or not.10. On my unit there are actually only 2 volume settings.I think that's it. I wish I'd known all this stuff earlier on today, but you can't have everything. Please let me know if you think this review is helpful, or if I've missed anything.

Plug & Play mic
Amazing small bit 9f kit. Sound quality is amazing and ideal for. Noisey venues or locations. Cuts the background sound to minimal.

Good quality plug and play microphone.
The media could not be loaded. I am very impressed with this microphone. I have been using it with my Galaxy S20 for videos, calls and online meetings. It connected easily to the phone both physically and electronically - the length of the USB C connector means that I do not need to remove my phone case - and the phone recognises it as an external microphone for recording and streaming services. A connector is included for Apple products as well as a charging cable and a USB A plug adaptor. It is very much a plug and play device at least as far as Android devices are concerned - I don't have an iPhone so can't comment on those devices. As you can see from my video the sound quality is very good. I found it to be natural sounding and there was a decent amount of noise reduction in all but the most extreme environments. The connection held up well over enough of a distance for my needs. Battery life was well over six hours. The only slight issue I have is with the shape of the microphone unit. It is a little bit top heavy and due to the shape does take a bit of fettling to get into a decent and stable position.Overall this is a great product. It is well designed, super easy to use and most importantly produces good quality sound. Recommended.
