How can we use the charger?

Hi, please see the short instruction. There are more clear instructions in the manual. Basically just plug the charger’s cord into the battery jack and connect to power. Red light indicates it’s charging and green light indicates the charging is completed!

Apart from buying the company to change battery size, how does having 21V battery vs a 24V battery affect the performance of the saw?

My experience is no difference. If any I haven't noticed it. I am trimming trees branches ans later will handle plants that have thick stems n no more achy hands from using clippers. Plus we have a field that grows wild up to.property lines and I can now cut them diwn. The stems are over an inch in size. I live it... n I'm not young ... but also like it's light weight n has a protector on top that keeos chips frim flying into your face body. Best decision I have made.

How much pressure are you supposed to apply when sawing?

I'm 86 years old and I don't have to apply any pressure. Just place the blades on the branch and it works all by itself. Haven't tried anything larger than about 5 inch branches.
