easy and enjoyable read
It was an easy read and the relationship between Rex Harrison & Albert Smith is great. Intriguing and humorous. The recipes at the end are a bonus.

Great series!
Albert Smith's Culinary Capers - the First Five Books are hysterically funny and full of mystery. The canine is both hysterically funny and has a nose for trouble as is and does his human. These books are fun to read and keep you guessing as to 'who done it'.

Good stories
Good story lines and fast reads. Funny and entertaining. Having the history of the main dish is a great idea, and the recipes are great. Would recommend this series to friends and family.

Good to relax with
Interesting mix of characters and setting. Rex is patient but persistent with Albert. This makes for good entertaining reading. Suitable for most adult level readers.

Albert and Rex Reign
These books were so much fun and curious!! I loved trying to figure the crimes out along with Albert! Rex is the best dog ever! I was sad when I finished the last book in this series! Kudos to Steve Highs for a fabulous story line...again!

Albert and Rex, Dynamic Duo
These mysteries are just fun. They are complicated enough to keep me guessing, but very funny because of Rex’s adventures. I especially enjoyed the culinary information about Yorkshire pudding.I had an aunt who excelled at it,and I tried a few times myself. If I had read this at the time,I thinK would have done better.

Mouth watering, delightful series!
The premise of this series is truly interesting! Some of the scenes depicting Rex's adventures are well written and as arresting as the main plot itself. The dog's frustration as he tries to communicate with his human is hilarious and something to think about. The character of Rex is as engaging as that of Albert Smith, if not more.
