Still using after over 1 year
I have had 2 teeth replaced already because I grind my teeth at night. I chew through the soft mouth guards quickly. I ham still using these. Today’s photos & thus edit is on Nov. 28, 2023. I rotate these 2 nightly. The aqua tint is from mouthwash- no, I am not aquamouth- with SUPER minty breath. :D Still super comfortable. The harder more durable ones from the dentist are around $200 each & not covered by insurance. This one is GREAT. Especially this pre shaped one. Easy to heat & fit. Not chewy. Thin. Great durability, especially for me with my hard grinding. I also ordered the other flat one. It has a few more saliva & air holes in it. I really am VERY pleased with both of them. If you are not sure, this one would be a great thin durable guard for you.

Finally, No more headaches, neck pain.
I was skeptical about this guard because it was hard not soft like i am used to. But I have purchased many soft guards from the dentist and online. They all work but I end up grinding through them in some areas/parts. I wake up with headaches and neck aches (very painful) for years. My dentist told me eight years ago that it was because I was grinding my teeth and have even chipped many teeth (Even Molars) because of it. So I got my first soft guard from them. It helped with my grinding but I was still having headaches and neck upper back issues. Eight years fast forward till now and many mouth guards later I read that soft mouthguards actually stimulate the chewing reflexes at night and cause you to grind more. So I decided to try this mouthguard last night and to my surprise slept through the whole night and woke this morning with no headache and no neck pains. I am completely confident this is because of this mouthguard. I am purchasing a second one as a spare in case I lose the first one. It was very easy to mold. I did redo it a few times because I made it a little too snug each time but after you put it in the water it goes back to its ORIGINAL shape each time so that really makes it easier when you are dipping it in the hot water again. I didn't have to redo so many times (4) but i wanted to make sure it was a perfect fit. I didn't puchase the flat one because i wanted to have an idea of the placement and the easier quicker fit. I purchased the one that is already preformed for my mouth. The best 2 tips i can give are:1. Wait til the water is 150-170 degrees then placed my new guard (tooth surface down) on a metal slotted cooking utensil so it lays flat and can be lifted out of the water evenly without folding on itself.2. After you put it in place and close your mouth over it DONT suck the air out too much or as its hardening it will become too tight on your teeth and gums. The first time I did it was really tight because I wanted it snug so it wouldn't fall out at night, the second time I did it less and slower and by the 4th I had barely removed any air when forming and just closed my mouth and slowly gently let my mouth fit around it. Also don't bite down to leave leave teeth impressions. Bite down gently. I did wear it for about 20 minutes til it was completely hardened and make sure it was comfortable. I knew it was perfect because after that amount of time I really couldn’t tell it was in.I hope this review will help others. This isn't meant to take away business away from the soft guards but for me. It made sense. The soft guards stimulate a chewing need even in the middle of the night. Maybe the soft guards should be used for whitening trays for those that need them. I’m just explaining my experience over the last eight years where acetaminophen had become a necessity in my life. But not anymore thanks to this mouthguard. And lastly I am getting NO kickback from this company at all. I am just grateful that it has helped me and possibly anyone else that reads this review. For me it was finally an answer to our prayers for wisdom for my almost daily headaches/neck/upper back pains. I am purchasing my second one right now.

Fancy
Not your average night guard. It seems like more of a preventative to grinding/clenching, rather than a cushion to ease the grinding/clenching.It is hard, but has ergonomic design for tongue and roof of mouth. Once fitted, it hold to teeth, so it’s difficult to spit out in your sleep. It also stop you from wanting to bite down even subconsciously. And it’s thin enough that it isn’t too uncomfortable or disruptive. The key to a good fit is more of suction with your mouth, rather than biting down. Follow instructions and you should be fine.

Ok but very hard to get the moulding of it right.
Ok, but very hard to get the moulding of it right. Its super soft when heated and half of the time was unusable when moulded not perfectly.

Hurts Teeth
I tried to mold this thing twice. The first time I followed the instructions and it set to a very snug fit that made my teeth hurt. The second time I didn't do any suction at all and the fit was still too snug and made my teeth hurt. I don't think I will try it for a third time. The pros is that it is very thin and feels comfortable against your lips and you are able to close your mouth. It is unfortunate that it didn't work out because since it was hard it did not make me want to chew it during sleep like the soft ones.

It’s a mouth guard
What I ordered, came quickly, delivered to my door. Works just as I expected.

Too hard. Low quality material.
The mouth guard is very hard. For heavy grinders it will likely hurt your teeth more. Also the material is very cheap. Look at holes made while trying to fit. Never had this issue with other brands.

This thing is perfect!
I really like this Sova nightguard. I didn't know I grinded my teeth until my dentist pointed it out to me and recommended me using a nightguard, but the custom one they sometimes offer at the dentist is so expensive!! This nightguard was pretty easy to set up, and it actually is re-moldable (they aren't lying about that) so if you mess it up the first time or it doesn't feel right, you can reheat and re-mold it. I can honestly tell a difference in my jaw after using this for a few months. Also, as far as size/wear go, this model fits me well, and I would say I have relatively small-average sized mouth and head with no wisdom teeth so I believe it would work for plenty of people as well as it did for me too.
