Excellent tool you'll probably only have to use once!
This worked perfectly for me. The small size makes it easy to fish into tight spaces, too.

Essential in chasing threads for replacing OEM O2 sensor.
Used to chase galled threads after removing original O2 sensor. An absolute necessity to avoid damaging threads on new replacement sensor. From the looks of it after this job, it is likely only good for a few (2 or 3) jobs before the cutting edge will dull to the point of not working well. However, at this price range it was well worth it for even one job.

inexpensive time saver
Its a thread chaser, nothing special, but works perfectly . Its a should have item if you ever change out an O2 sensor since the threads do get rusty, and dirty from the exhaust. After using this your O2 sensor should go in nicely, at least mine do. Just remember, this is chaser, not a cutter. This will clean up the threads, fix minor issues, but it won't put new threads in.

Great Product
Bought a 05 X5 BMW last year. Trouble code for 02 sensor downstream. Purchased new sensor and started to remove old sensor. Sensor was frozen and very difficult to break loose. Finally, after applying heat and a lot of force it moved. Discovered sensor was cross threaded by some "idiot" (photo) and all treads were ruined as well as threads on bung. Thought bung threads were not repairable and expected to have to buy new Catalytic converter. Saw on youtube someone mentioned a "Chaser." Bought this product and began tapping. Requires a lot force to turn, you will need a breaker bar of ratchet with pipe (photo). Slowly turn to pressure and reverse. After about an hour of back and force threads were completely restored and new sensor installed. Chaser appears to be undamaged and ready for use again. Product saved me hundreds of dollars.

Worked very well on my 1999 Harley Road King gas tank thread where the line goes into the tank. If you have an older Harley with the MM FI and need to clean up that thread, this is the tool you need.

Tool is not hard enough, threads were messed up from the first hole I cleaned... now I need a thread chaser for my thread chaser... cleaned up the hole nicely but I think when it is no longer usable, I will just make one out of an old O2 sensor using a dremel.
