An Introduction to A Course in Miracles

Amazing Little Book
A friend let me read his copy, and after I read it, I immediately ordered my own copy to share with others. This intro is really interesting, and it inspired me to purchase the full course (for another review). This book contains a potent little non-denominational introduction to an outlook on existence that seems like it could lead to something positively life-changing. It's a short read, and I'd recommend it to anyone interested in expanding your perception and understanding of, well, life. Good stuff!

Truth to set you free
I am almost though the book and feel it to be very truthful and uplifting with a lot of enlightening information. Though it may not be the most popular it is written and channeled in truth. It is teaching us the ways to the Miracles of heaven. I highly recommend this to any spiritual teacher and also for anyone brave enough to attempt to teach others how to change the course of this planet into a Heaven on Earth.

Keeping It Simple
I bought this book just after buying the Course. I am glad I 'found' this book - a recommended precursor. This book gives me a good solid introduction, and overview for a better understanding on the potential impact I will be experiencing in reading and studying the Course. I am a firm believer that you get the right info you need at the time you need it ... regardless of how versed or as a novice - this was exactly what I needed before diving into the Course.

Introduction to 'A Course in Miracles'.
As you may be aware 'A Course in Miracles' is not an easy read but well, well worth reading. The definition of words within the 'Course' do not always have the same definition that we associate with our normal use of language or indeed with some of the usual Christian definitions. 'A Course in Miracles' is a 1200 page work in three parts. The text, the theory of the Course, is in the region of 666 pages of challenging reading so, this little book is a friend well worth consulting. This 'Introduction' book is a very easy to understand overview of the 'Course' theory and therefore, in my opinion, it would help to read it before venturing further. It is an enlightening read and I definitely recommend it. Another recommendation, would be to read a very good book 'A Return to Love' Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles; by Marianne Williamson who is incidently, if you do not know, a well known international lecturer on 'The Course' and has written a number of other related books. The 'Introduction to A course in Miracles' is an ideal starter, well worth reading.

A reference guide for life.
This is one of the best books I have ever read to date. I bought this book over 5 years ago. I swear by it. Still reading it because the chapters are so intense. The depth at which the author writes is amazing.

Effective review of the Course.
Before delving head deep into some of it’s sometimes nearly incomprehensible truth, I would definitely recommend this booklet for anyone unfamiliar with the Course. It amply demonstrates the depth and nature of it should you decide to buy the full version.I consider myself a born philosopher and have always been obsessed with understanding the nature of God, life, the universe and everything and feel proud of the knowledge I’ve gleaned on my own through books, experiences, my own logic, and many other factors. At this point, A Course in Miracles seems to be the only one left that still challenges my understanding of it all.

Very superficial treatment
I purchased the CD set out of curiosity more than anything else. I had tried to read the text in the past but found it to be pretty much impenetrable, so I thought the introduction would help me to understand the 'course' a bit better and it did that. After listening to the CDs I came away more convinced than ever that it was really just another very human approach to developing spirituality that didn't work for everyone, including me.
