Good value
This intake is pretty good. The internal tube is nice and smooth, it is a anesthetically pleasing, the fit is pretty good and makes a nice difference in engine induction which sounds cool.Yes there are a couple issues like you need to drill some of the heatsheild holes larger, and the silicone coupler on the throttle body is slightly too large, but it fits fine once you snug the hose clamp. For the price, I think it's worth it if you are mechanically inclined.

Fits a 2500hd if you make it.
Love Love Love this intake!! More complete and better quality than spectre and cheaper to boot. I had 3 specters and 2 KnN kits before this. I will never look at another brand again. Had all the nuts, bolts, heat shield, and gaskets. Even came with splash shield/heat deflector for filter. I installed this on a gas 2013 2500hd. I modified tube to clear fan blades (hammer wrapped in burlap) and it needs a nipple welded/bolted on for MAP sensor (or you can T off the crankcase vent like I did) get tons of compliments when I pop the hood. Sounded great before straight pipes and 34.5" MTs now I think I might hear it sometimes.

A small headache, but worth it.
Package came fairly quick. Packaged well. Parts seem to be well made. I watched a YouTube video for my year make and model on how to disassemble the stock air filter housing. I have never put one of these on cold air intakes on, however I am fairly mechanicly inclined. These issues I had were more or less with the provided directions. They seriously need to be updated. I recieved hardware that wasn't described or shown in tue directions, so that was a guessing game. When it comes to the bolts , nuts washers etc..etc. please show pics as to what goes where. That would have been really nice. I recieved a second heat shield (curved) nowhere in the directions does it mention that part or show where or how it should go or attach. So again, directions need serious updates.Having said all that. It took me about 90 min to install. 45 of that was trying to figure all the extra hardware and the extra shield. Once it was in, I drove it and Holy cow.... so much more HP and the sound.....nice!.I gave 4 stars for the obvious mentioned issues. All in all. Worth the money.

Budget filter
I put on my 2012 GMC 1500 5.3l. I feel I'm pretty mechanical inclined, after reading over direction multiple times. I installed the filter. After install, I had to remove it and drill additional holes to make it fit the way I felt it should fit. With there instruction it didnt seal against the Inner fender. So I moved it in. I contacted the company to see what I may of done wrong. They really couldn't help me. ALL SOO, THIS IS A DRY FILTER ELEMENT, NO OIL REQUIRED. This is some thing they FORGOT TO MENTION IN THE DIRECTIONS. SO BE WARE OF THIS FACT. Over all nicely built filter and tube kit. Directions kinda vague and they need little more info with them.

Take your time and pay attention to the instructions and it’s not that bad to install. Looks good. Very happy with it so far

Super nice intake!
Great intake for the money well made everything bolted right in with no issues looks super nice in the engine bay love the look and sound of it only thing is the directions could have been a little more specific but any one with common sense would be able to install it.

It’s decent but not an K&n
Bought this for a 2011 5.3 Silverado. It comes packaged very well and neat at first look this thing looks awesome sturdy construction good couplings the band clamps are week and the screws for the mass air sensor stripped the second I put them in. Fitment isn’t the best and could deffinantly use a second look by the manufacturer. I will also be replacing the filter with a K&N. And last but not least the position of the mass air on the bottom is not the best it forces you to stretch and pull wires to get it to fit.
