I live a carnivore lifestyle but as a devout Catholic, I refrain from meat on all Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (brown scapular, sabbatine privilege) ANYWAY— sometimes I need some meatless protein that is not eggs (again!). Boy, oh, boy — does this little bag deliver! Protein is 29 grams, ZERO FAT and ZERO CARBS, so they’re extra scrummy dipped in organic sour cream! At only 120 calories a bag, you can even splurge on some creme fraiche! Sure, they’re a little bit fishy, but hey—it’s FISH. A velvety, creamy dip mellows it all out— while keeping culinary boredom at bay!

As a rule. I do not submit negative reviews, but this product has earned special treatment. I have never tasted a worse "snack" in my life. I love fish. I love the taste of fish. I was not hesitant about trying this product as a fish-based snack, And it is horrible. The best thing I could say about the taste is that it is weak and non-offensive. But the mouth feel! Ugh! The wafers quickly turn from a rice cake-like consistency to a fibrous mass of chewy, vaguely fish-flavored pulp. One mouthful and the bag was thrown out. This ain't your father's fish snack, and it shouldn't be yours either.

This Cod is thoroughly dried & crunchy. Although the contents do smell fishy when first opened the taste is very mild. It definitely tastes like Cod fish, is high in protein & almost fat free. I would eat it more if it weren't so expensive for my budget. (The cost is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5).

Hahaha, bought this for my son in law who will try anything. He ate them but thought them somewhat bland.

I normally buy hardfiskr which is so different. This had no flavor, and I had to salt them and flavor them. I preferred to eat them with just butter but these needed all kinds of seasoning to enjoy. Bag is too small, cost was too high for no flavor.

very tasty, I expected it to be bland but they are very tasty, I will be ordering again! just salty enough, and very clean fish taste. made me feel like a million dollars! with every bite I can imagine being on a longboat in 875 AD. I will definitely have to order two bags next time, as I finished off the whole bag in one go with how tasty it was.

This item tast good. Hard to stop eating.
