I'm a fat old hippie who's out protesting again; but my old body can't stand for hours on end. I brought this to a protest the day after it arrived and it perfect! Whenever my old bones complained, I turned the cane into a seat and rested for a few minutes. I was even able to give some respite to others who needed to get off their feet for a bit.

Easy to assemble. It feels sturdy and has a heavy feel. No problem adjusting the legs to sit on seat. The other two legs need to be adjusted all the way up when not using the seat. The only issue is geting back up off the seat and that is bly because of my disability.

I doubt this could regularly support a 400 pound person. At 300 pounds, I am still a little skeptical. The Steptogold versions look sturdier but rate at 300.The specific listing I ordered from is misleading. It features a main picture with a cushion. Only after receiving one without a cushion did I notice that there is nothing in the actual details about such a feature and the other pictures do not have one.However, this will probably meet my needs. Very light and easy to use. Adjusted to my height well. It should not be used constantly.

Bought this for my mom. She loved it. The quality is good. It is easy to carry around if you have your own transportation and it is convenient to rest. It could be a little higher for those person who are not vertically challenged but it was certainly value for money.

I'm a really big girl with a very bad knee and back. I hate riding around in those stupid carts at the store, especially when I really need to be up and walking. Standing still has been a real problem.I have really long legs, so I set all these legs set up on the longest setting. The cane is still very stable, and the seat is high enough to get on and off the seat without pain, about 18.5" high when open.I bought this cane to take to a concert. WOW, what a game-changer for me! We had a stand-only VIP private acoustic off-site concert, and I was able to sit when I needed to while waiting to get in, and again sitting down in front! Later, at the main venue, we had to stand around in line and wait for a ride coming in and going out. It holds all of my weight no problem. I also used it to get up and down all night when stupid disruptive drunk ladies kept going in and out of our row. I was able to easily, as big as I am, get up and down, using this cane.I took it shopping with husband to buy clothes for his trip. When I needed to get off my feet, easy peasy.I purposely selected the smaller seat to make it less wide and more portable, but it holds my largest heaviest parts without discomfort. It is easy and steady to walk with over distances.Thank you for making a sturdy, usable, affordable product that greatly helps me to stay mobile!Update: I weigh less than what I did when I bought it. It snapped and I fell. See picture. I’m okay but this should be rated a much lower weight!

This is really comfortable to sit on my only beef is that the picture shows that it has padding- it doesn’t. There is no padding on the chair at all.I’m keeping it though because it is pretty comfortable without the padding and I can always buy the padding to put on it

This is a very useful cane if you are going to a large meeting without seating. It is heavier than a regular cane so not good for every day. The seat and handle are made of hard plastic, I rigged up padding for the handles and a seat cushion so it worked well at a protest. Would recommend this item.
