Very cheap product, no good way to apply it.

I ordered this to use with my daughter. It smells very much like strawberries. The scrub works, but a little goes a VERY LONG WAY. This stuff got everywhere! Little sugar pieces fall off very easily, so they will get on any surface close to you. It also says to use a pea-sized amount, which honestly is way too much. It only takes a dab of your finger. It is an ok product, but the mess isn't worth it.

This is an effective lip scrub, but it's very messy. It is essentially sugar granules that are infused with a little strawberry flavor and oils. Even though there is oils and flavor in it the scrub is still relatively dry. So imagine picking up sugar out of the sugar bowl and rubbing that on your lips because it's pretty close to the same experience you'll get with this scrub. Yes, you can rub it on your lips and as you do the sugars start to melt into the lips as you rub and scrub but the sugar doesn't stick to your lips it falls off all over the place. I'd really like to see an abrasive scrub like this in more of a gel base or something that would hold it on your lips while applying it. When I use it I have to do os over the sink so I don't get sugar everywhere. The flavor and scent are sweet and candy-like but not sickeningly sweet.My lips were pretty chapped and one application didn't magically make my lips great, but daily use for a week using it twice a day did eventually wear down the dry skin leaving soft, supple lips. I still had to use chapstick as well though.

I was impressed with how well this works. I'm not going to say that I saw miracles after just one application, but even after just the first use, my lips felt smoother. The feeling doesn't last forever, but it does seem like they feel a little smoother each time that I use it.The best way that I can describe the texture is to see that it feels like I'm rubbing red sugar on my lips. It also has an amazing strawberry scent.In the winter, my lips get really dry and cracked, so I am excited to try this to see just how well it performs when the weather's a little colder and my lips need more intensive care.This is a really small container. It doesn't say on the jar, but it's only 0.7 ounces. The good news is that it doesn't take much to cover my lips. Even though it only takes a little, for the current price of $9.99, that's quite expensive. I wouldn't buy it for that. I have heard about people doing these type of lip sugar scrubs before but have never tried one for myself. Winter is quickly falling upon us and my house gets super dry because of the heat. I almost always have chapped and cracked lips that lead into excess skin flakes on my lips. I figured I would give it a try to see if it is as effective as it's cracked up to be. The first thing I noticed is how wonderful this scrub smells. It smells just like strawberry as it should, going off the fact that this is a strawberry lipscrub. No brainer there. I did want to clarify that I don't think this smells burnt, as another reviewer felt it did. Smells nice and fresh to me. I followed the instructions the first time I used it and scooped out a pea sized amount with my fingernail. I have pretty small lips and found that half the recommended amount actually worked for me so, depending on your lip size, you might be able to stretch this a little farther by using a little less. I will say that you will probably want to do this over the bathroom sink because the little sugar pieces do tend to fall out all over the place. If you are messy and uncoordinated like myself, it might make a mess. The results actually pleasantly surprised me. I didn't expect it to work as well as it did. Up until now, I have always just used my wash cloth whenever cleansing my face to scrub my lips and I thought this would pretty much do the same thing but this definitely gave my lips more of a thorough scrub. It removed all those loose dead dried up pieces on my lips and my lips feel 10 years younger, no kidding. They feel super soft.Try this out. It works wonders.

We picked this up for our 13 year old daughter, who has had some really chapped lips lately. It smells good, and the flavor is nice, she has said. The one problem has been when you rub it in, some of the sugar falls off, although most of it doesn't. As a result, it can be a little bit messy on your counter or floor if you're not watching carefully.After using, your lips feel very moisturized. Even after using for only a few days, we've seen and noticed a difference on her lips. They are much smoother now in comparison.

I’ve been having some trouble with my lips being chapped and peeling recently so I wanted to try out a lip scrub and found this one. This smells absolutely amazing. I was expecting the consistency to be like a gel with some sugar in it, but it’s essential just a pot of dry sugar. Because of that, this is quite messy to apply. I ended up using it while I was in the shower so I didn’t have to worry about spilling sugar all over my floor. This didn’t really work for me. While applying it, it felt nice, but I haven’t noticed a difference in the amount of peeling and chapped skin on my lips after using this multiple times, which is unfortunate.

The consistency is like wet sugar which I guess makes since. I was thinking it would be a little more firm. I would recommend doing it over a sink because some will fall off as you apply. The smell is amazing. Smells just like fresh strawberries. Haven't noticed a huge difference yet but time will tell.
