anyone know why this only works onces on my car once i have cloned it?

To my knowledge this product is unsuitable for vehicles . as some vehicles have a scamble coding which means it changes after each use. depends on brand but new vehicle adopt a higher security coding.

How do you clone the remote

Code cleaning method: Press the A button and B button at the same time, after the LED indicator light flashes three times, loosen any one of the buttons while the other is kept pressing, then push the released button three times, the LED indicator will enter into the fast flashing status. At this time all the memory data is cleared, the cleaned remote control will not have lighting LED indicator no matter which button you press. After a successful copy of the codes, they appear to be erased/forgotten within a few days of not being used. I cannot imagine that this is by design?

This may be because your item uses rolling codes which change and the controllers do not support rolling codes properly. I bought some for my entry gate at my apartment. They worked a couple of times then stopped. And then I would programme them again and then they work once or twice and stop again I have some programmed with fixed codes and their are no problems. Most cars now use rolling codes that change after every so many uses. This is why if you press your buttons on your original remote several times when away from your car it will not work. And you have to bind it back to your car by putting it back in the ignition and other ways. I know they are cheap but just ask for refund and spend a little more to get a proper one from Timpsons or other supplier. What do you expect from cheap Chinese stuff. Once you get the refund then program the to your remote control plugs or something similar. You don't have to send them back. As I said its what I have done.
