This little medicine box is great for travel, or at home if you have kids and hard RX you take locked away. Let's be honest, the lock is a joke for adults but it will keep the kids out. I use it to carry my meds when i travel. Sturdy, locks, opens and closes easy, well made.

WOW! I find all these negative reviews truly surprising. When I purchased this case as well as another one, I certainly did not expect either lockable case to be the equivalent of Fort Knox for medications! Did anyone send theirs back? It can be returned within 30 days. I certainly support the idea of keeping any meds and most definitely narcotics (prescribed or not) locked up and kept away from toddlers in particular as well as young kids. If you have small children in your house, I really doubt a toddler would pick up a chisel in one hand and a hammer in the other in an attempt to break into your box. Teens and up? Sure. Anyone desperate enough for drugs and/or money can find a way into just about anything (I'm betting they could even get into a fireproof lockable safe if they wanted what's inside bad enough). Anyway, as far as meds are concerned, this would make a great carry case for anyone with diabetes. If you had to store your stuff in a shared fridge at work, this would at least discourage nosy people from peeking inside. Inside the black cloth lined case, there are four elastic loops that would be helpful holding anything from medication "pens" to pill bottles. On the same side, there is a small zip-pouch that has Velcro on the back so you can move it where you like. On the opposite side of the case there's a fishnet like pouch sewn in that of course you can put just about anything in it. To me it seems like a great place to hold items for diabetics such as lancets and alcohol preps. I'm happy with my purchase because if nothing else it is a cute case.

Very good safe, great size, nice design, great value for your money, easy to use, very good for traveling, just the inside durability is lacking as it lift and isnt exactly glued very well, you would need to re-glue it youself after a while.

Fits perfectly in the door of my refrigerator. My daughter is constantly getting in the fridge and this case helps make sure she isn’t accidentally ingesting something that she doesn’t need to be. Fits many different shaped medications from injectable pens to those thick bottles of children’s amoxicillin. Have never had trouble with the locking mechanism it works perfectly.

This was the required style of box at my first methadone clinic. I had no problem storing my take-homes in it, and I was happy. But then I met my husband. We are very much in love, and both on methadone. It was only through him that I discovered how destructive benzodiazepines can be. I have been taking Valium and/or Xanax for 12 years, and never saw anything worth abusing it for. I never increased my doses, and felt the drugs were harmless. I had a huge stash of pills, as I refilled each month without having taken every pill. I figured they might be useful someday, and never thought much of it. Once I heard my husband's history, I began storing my pills in this box... The short story is I was naive, the lock on this box is worthless, and several overdoses later, my husband finally admitted he'd been stealing from me and had redeveloped his addiction to benzos and methadone - the same combination that had killed his father at age 27, and that had left my husband homeless for years, ending a decade before I met him. I trusted this box for many months, and felt like I was losing my mind as I watched my husband lose his mind. I realize now that I was an idiot, but I honestly thought this box would keep my pills safe. I never thought I was my husband's supplier. I never thought my husband could steal from me. I thought I was going mad as it always seemed like pills were disappearing but I had no proof. DO NOT BUY THIS BOX TO SECURE MEDICATIONS. THIS BOX WILL ALLOW YOUR LOVED ONES TO DESTROY LIVES AND KILL THEMSELVES. THIS BOX IS AN OVERDOSE WAITING TO HAPPEN. Our lives are getting back on track. Slowly. It's been a nightmare.

I purchased this item because my old one got soaked with water which caused mildew so I threw it away and chose the cute leopard printed case. my only complaint is the sturdiness it's a lot different from the older models they seem cheaply made sadly and they cost a lot cheaper from years ago but I can’t really complain it does everything a lockbox suppose to do and the price is winning but geese the shipping time was a good two weeks idk what that was about but it arrived in almost excellent condition.

I've been using this lockbox as a toiletries travel kit. Easy to lock and unlock, unlatch open, and closed and the dials spin smoothly. The built-in elastic loops, (secure tight) pocket, and velcro black sleeve are all being utilized and appreciated. Items slot in very well, surprising given the various travel-size tubes and cases. Due to both sides being filled, I have to swing the sides closed, upward like a book, with both hands quickly. Sometimes it takes another attempt, but this is due to the physics of a stuffed hinged box, not a flaw. Keep that in mind if you're traveling, pack it lighter if you're worried about not getting it closed again/consistently. Fits into luggage and carries well for short trips. Probably won't fit EVERYTHING you need, but it will fit MOST of it!

Fantastic little case and a great size for on the go! Great to know my medications are kept away safe, gives me an ease of mind.
