Son and I are getting ready to go on a little dive vacation to a couple places and now that he has been developing his more advanced skills, we decided we wanted to do some deeper dives which means darker environments at the places we are going so I wanted to get us both a couple more good lights. My first criteria for any dive light these days is that it must use either 18650 or 26650 batteries as I have several sets of those batteries and it's very handy to just swap batteries and throw the others on a charger. These lights use 2, 26650 batteries each (included along with chargers as well) so battery life should be very good plus it means I have extras to change to when needed. I haven't taken them diving yet but did test them out last night to see the brightness and was very impressed with all the brightness levels. The highest setting was insanely bright and I feel like it actually may not get used very much as when lights are that bright, they tend to backscatter against particulates in the water but we will still try it out at least to see but even the low setting seemed like it would be more than adequate for most of what we are going to do. While I haven't taken them actually diving yet, I do have a small pressure tank that lets me simulate various depth conditions and put both lights in the tank and set the depth to 120 feet for 2 hours with the lights on their low setting. After the two hours, the lights were both still burning nice and bright and upon inspection, there were no leaks. The switch on them is easy to manipulate, even in gloves but not so easy that they will get turned on accidentally which is great. They both appear to be very well made. The only downside I see some people may have (to be clear, this is not an issue for me but others may not like it) they are rather heavy. Part of this is the heavy duty construction of the lights and part of it is the 2 26650 batteries in them. I personally prefer heavier lights as many of the really light ones tend to break or fail too easily. If you prefer small, compact, and lightweight dive lights, these are not for you. If you are like me and prefer nice heavy duty dive lights that are nice and bright, these are perfect!

UPDATE: I was contacted by the Wurkkos team who acknowledged the concerns I had shared & offered to rectify this by giving me a replacement or refund. I had compared Wurkkos lights against Imalent/Sofirn/Astrolux/Fenix & their DL70 was was my top choice. When I received the light it just looked & felt fantastic (barring the signs of usage). What seems to have happened was the unit I received has been a possible return which wasn't able to deliver as advertised and I might have just been unlucky here. However, given that Wurkkos has such a robust 12 month warranty policy & support locally from USA as well as options to provide repalcement from China to other countries (be aware you may have to deal with customs clearance so it may not be as convenient as USA) I was really pleased to have made this purchase. I'm definitely coming back to get this & another flashlight too (Wurkkos TS30S) once they have it in stock. INITIAL REVIEW: The light barely works any better than the chinese flashlights I got for 20$! The batteries & charger were pretty banged up & scratched. Used a different charger as the LED's just stay stuck on RED without voltage nor were the batteries charging up after hours of plugged in. The batteries seem defective too as another charger too didn't help keep it loaded and the light hardly goes to 3000 lumen!
