Amazing camera! With the right settings, (focusing on motion blur, wide views, and smoothness) you’ll be able to get a unique look that I prefer over GoPro. The power combo has a longer battery life than the front display combo, just keep in mind that you’ll need the front screen combo if the screen on the camera gets damaged. Stabilization is great for filming without mechanical vibrations, but horizon steady freaks out when trying to film walks on the necklace mount. The app is helpful and it is not hard to connect to bluetooth like some other older action cameras. Overall great camera, blows other action cams out of the water! I’ve had this camera for a few years and I would buy this one again if it ever broke.

Most of the initial bugs seem to be completely fixed now. No real overheating, great battery life, and more features like additional stabilization modes. Image quality is great but the main attractor for myself is the ingenious magnetic mounting system. It allows me to just use the camera more and get great shots. Got the camera for under $300 during a sale and couldn't be happier. Quick note on external mics; any USB c or trrs mic converted to USB c works. I just noticed the audio is a little on the low side.

So far it's been very good for me. It has got a bad propaganda claiming that it overheats and I don't know if it's true or not yet, but I am pretty sure I won't get my video stopped because it is an action camera and I use it as such, not as a videography camera to shoot movies. Action sports don't require 4k 120p. You just need 3 mins max to do a skateboard run, to ride a wave 5 - 6 mins to snowboard or mtb down a hill, you just need to hit the button when something interesting is going to happen, and this camera is lighting fast, it won't take more than a second to turn on and start recording. Image quality and stabilization is of the best out there. The downside is that it is so premium that you are always afraid of scratching it or denting it and especially the lens glass which is not replaceable so you end up buying glass screen protectors for the lens and the display and I am also looking forward to buying a chinese waterproof case for the camera module in order to protect it against drops and smashes. Also I didn't expect the gopro mount was so heavy, it's because it's all metal. One very good point of this camera that no one tells, is that because the angle of view is so wide it makes you look you are going faster, as the motion blur is way more on the edges.

La DJI Action 2 Power Combo es muy versátil y práctica, ideal para grabar en distintas situaciones gracias a su diseño compacto y modular. Sin embargo, tiene un inconveniente importante: se sobrecalienta con facilidad, especialmente en grabaciones largas. Aun así, su calidad de imagen y flexibilidad la hacen una buena opción si se usa con precaución.

So nice, portable and defo love the magnetic options. This camera is great for taken pictures and videos, very easy to use, picture quality on videos is amazing The only bad thing is battery but I never do long videos anyways so it's not a big problem for me.

Piece of junk. First of all, paper instructions are impossible to understand - I had to view Youtube video how to set it up. The DJI app provided on their manual couldn't be installed on my phones - I tried two phones - one with Android 10, another one with Android 8. The camera itself overheated within minutes after I turned it on even without using it. I tried to charge it and it didn't cool out - it remained very hot until I turned it off. To add to frustration with this product the return is not free. They provided the choice to drop it off for free at a very distant Amazon Fresh location -15 miles from where I live or UPS drop off which costs $6.

This little camera is an amazing alternative to gopro's. I use this in a two camera setup for wingsuiting. I have a Gopro 360 on my helmet and use this camera with a body mount setup to film from an under the wing point of view. Picture quality is amazing for such a little camera. Decent battery life when in paired format. Just running the camera without the extra battery base, will last about 15-20 minutes.

After turning on 5 times it basically bricks itself until you activate it. I actually had to go back to my 5 year old Google Pixel to get a phone connect to the camera just to activate it as newer devices wouldn't connect. And you have to download the app from their website since they won't provide it in the Google Play Store. Otherwise, the camera is pretty good. Battery is mediocre and it gets hot. I also bought a Insta360 One RS at the same time... it's a much better device (easier to use, no painful activation, less heat, better audio, etc.). Only advantage to the DJI Action 2 is the ability to have the smaller camera snap onto a magnet under your shirt. Unless you're looking for the smaller form camera to get a body angle, I'd pass on the DJI device.

The DJI Action 2 is a highly underrated camera. The Action 2 is by far the tiniest, and lightest action/vlogger camera out there. It has better image quality than the DJI OSMO Pocket # 2 Camera. You need to insure you have installed the latest firmware update via the DJI cell phone Mimo App in order to get the fullest functionality from this camera, as it adds several new features the camera does not possess straight out of the box. The Action 2 is one of the first inexpensive vlogging cameras to offer Time-Lapse Movie output in 4K resolution, along with a settable HEVC (h.265) recording codec, thus allowing superior image quality at a much higher rate of compression, thus giving you way more storage on a micro SD card. The Action 2 has 22 GB of its own internal storage, which, when full, can be transferred to micro SD card media if you have either the battery attachment (See Pictures), or the second screen viewing attachment. The small camera cube alone is waterproof to 32 feet. WARNING!: The lower battery or live viewing screen attachments are NOT waterproof, so be advised to use the camera cube alone if shooting in and underwater. The second vlogger lower viewing screen attachment also adds extra built in microphones (3 to the existing 1 only on the camera cube itself), as well as a tiny playback speaker for quick reviews of interviews and blogs you shoot. I haven't tested the Live Video Streaming function yet. I'm waiting until I receive my new Samsung S22 8K camera/smartphone before trying out this particular feature. This tiny camera will scale up to full studio functionality, should you require extra on board lighting, external shotgun on board Mic, or wireless lapel Mic for interviews, studio setups, Live Streaming, etc. The Action 2 camera is compatible with The DJI Wireless Microphone and receiver (Both single Mic and Dual Stereo Mic wireless systems). This camera is well worth the money. I may also purchase a second one as well. Unfortunately, this camera is too fragile to really use as an "ACTION" camera, like a GoPro. I believe DJI miss-marketed the Action 2. This is really a great all round shooting camera.

Pack Bundle qui permet d'avoir la batterie avec la caméra d'action. Acheté en remplacement d'une gopro action pour le même gabarit. Le changement est appréciable avec une durée de vie de batterie grandement supérieur. La fonctionnalité de stabilisation est juste parfaite ! Le boitier en plus de recharger la camera et augmenter son temps de batterie permet aussi d'ajouter du stockage supplémentaire en micro SD. Attention toutefois le boitier n'est pas étanche !

Received the product on 19/03/2024. But when I tried to use the products the below issues were observed: Cons : 1. Battery Discharge: the battery is getting discharged very fast, when I just started recording it consumes almost 1% every 30-40 sec. And without the power module, it is impossible to record long-duration videos. 2. Charging issues: There is no direct port for charging the camera module only, you need to attach the power module to charge the device, also the battery module/power module is not charging fully, it charges till 68% and then it stops charging. I have tried from all the sources (socket, power bank)but the issue is the same for every source. 3. Heating: The device heats up easily, only you can use it in specific conditions to avoid the heating issue. Pros : 1. Picture Quality: The picture quality is awesome, comparing to the price, the quality is very nice. Also, there are multiple modes for shooting. But due to the heating issue, you can't use it for more time in outdoor shooting. 2. You can use external mic only when you're attaching the power module. Cons: 1. If you are planning to use it as a motovlogging device you may disappoint as it will not shoot for long due to the heating issue. 2. Battery backup is decent. But for long shooting you need to carry power bank Edit : upon contacting the DJI service center, they asked to send the product in their authorised service centre and as the issue was genuine they replaced the old product with a new one.

This camera is amazing, yes it has the heating issue, but this cam is meant to be used in intervals. 1 min vid, stop and than again. Action camera has the heating issue cause they put so much processing power in tiny body that it hurts. So use wisely. Trust me, if you know how to use it, u won't let it sit in cupboard at all.

Ho acquistato la DJI Action 2 Power Combo (32GB) e devo dire che ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative. Cercavo una action cam compatta ma potente, facile da usare in diverse situazioni, e questo modello rappresenta davvero un concentrato di tecnologia e praticità. La qualità costruttiva è impeccabile: il design è moderno, solido e allo stesso tempo molto elegante, tipico del marchio DJI, che ormai è una garanzia di affidabilità nel settore tecnologico. Già al primo utilizzo si percepisce la cura dei dettagli e la robustezza dei materiali, pensati per durare e resistere anche ad un uso più “avventuroso”. Dal punto di vista della praticità, il formato compatto è incredibilmente comodo: si infila facilmente in tasca o nello zaino e si monta in pochi secondi grazie agli accessori magnetici. Questo sistema di aggancio è una delle caratteristiche che più ho apprezzato, perché permette di cambiare configurazione rapidamente senza perdere tempo. La qualità video e foto è eccellente: immagini nitide, colori vividi e una stabilizzazione che sorprende anche durante movimenti rapidi o sportivi. Per chi come me ama registrare viaggi, passeggiate o attività all’aperto, il risultato è fluido e professionale senza dover ricorrere a complicate impostazioni. L’interfaccia è intuitiva e immediata, quindi anche chi non è esperto può ottenere ottimi risultati già dalle prime riprese. Un altro punto forte è l’autonomia: la Power Combo fornisce la possibilità di estendere notevolmente il tempo di utilizzo, cosa molto utile soprattutto in viaggio o in giornate in cui si vuole registrare a lungo senza preoccuparsi di ricaricare continuamente. La memoria da 32GB è adeguata e consente di archiviare diverse ore di registrazione. In sintesi, la DJI Action 2 si distingue per la facilità d’uso, le prestazioni elevate e l’affidabilità del marchio. È una action cam che sa unire compattezza e potenza, ideale sia per chi cerca un compagno di viaggio leggero ma efficace, sia per chi vuole avvicinarsi al mondo delle riprese sportive e dinamiche con un prodotto di livello superiore.
