Hmm, I wanted to leave a 3-star review but Amazon wouldn't let me. Curious...It is nice to have a gluten-free breading option, but athough it is dry and crumb-like in texture, the crumbs are more like cracker crumbs than panko and rather tough. They do not offer the crispy light texture one would like.

We couldn't find GF breadcrumbs in any supermarkets. Well done to Jeff Nathan for opening up more recipes for Type 1 Diabetes.

The flavour is quite plain and not really pleasant, the texture when eating is alright, but it is not like normal panko breadcrumbs or breadcrumbs… it is more like the size of fish food flakes. That makes the food not be as good as it could’ve been. It was good size but not great flavour nor value for money.

My wife has a lot of food intolerances so to find things she can eat is fraught with difficulty and usually ends up with compromise. Not so here. I ought the product with the above limitations in mind but in actual fact the product is amazing. Even without the intolerances issue, I would go for this everytime. Imagine breadcrumb covered fried food but food where the covering itself is even tastier than what it is covering! That is Jeff Nathan Creations Gluten Free Breadcrumbs, Panko Crumbs. Go and buy some now! (But leave some so I can buys some more please!)
