Excellent Noise Reduction -- Very Good Audio and Radio Tuner Quality -- Comfy On A Large Head
I purchased these after receiving notice that emergency construction repairs using jackhammers were going to be performed approx. 25 yards from my livingroom and bedroom windows 24/7 for more than a week. To make matters worse, it's been in the 70+ degree range where I live and the building's a/c hasn't been turned so it is necessary to keep my windows open.I chose these because they are the protective ear muffs with built-in audio with the highest level of advertised noise reduction on Amazon (31 NRR). I checked out the many customer reviews on the Amazon Canadian, UK, and German sites, which all rated this item highly -- 4-5 stars, and ran the reviews through Fakespot (FWIW) and the ratings were given an A level of trust. The jackhammers started this AM and while wearing these, without the audio on, I can not hear them, only a remarkable silence :-)I was also very surprised at the solid quality of audio these ear muffs produce. I do not believe that the built-in AM/FM tuner is stereo, but when hooked directly into my PC with the included cable the sound is in stereo. The AM/FM tuner is also surprisingly sensitive and pulls in most AM and FM stations my high-end multiband radios and stereo receiver do.I have a large head (71/2 +) and even while wearing glasses these ear muffs fit nicely. They currently are snug but comfortable, which is how I would want them for noise reduction. It's always nice when you make a purchase and it turns out to be better than you expected :-)If you are looking for ear muffs with a relatively high level of noise reduction (31 NRR) that offers built in audio you won't go wrong with these.

Good, and so close to great.
UPDATE: Sadly these stopped working after about 6 months of use so I dropped the rating to 1 star--quality headphones should go for years, not 6 months. I'm super bummed because I really liked the higher sound attenuation these gave, but after about 6 months the electronics went wonky. Now I either can't get them to power on at all, or they power off randomly or when I move my head to the side (littlest motion and they power off).----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------(Original Post) Best sound attenuation ive used so its easier to hear music or use really loud machinery. Ear pieces are too small and pinch my ears so its hard to wear them for more than a few hours. Also i have a larger head and they pinch a little too hard and even if i loosen them up it still isnt comfortable. I think this is because of poor quality materials used in the ear pieces...not enough padding. Same for the top part, hardly any padding and its kinda cheaply made. All that being said, i still like them and would likely buy them again because they are still better than their competition. If the company reads this please add bluetooth to the next iteration, and improve the comfort of the ear pieces without lowering the sound attenuation. Also, if possible make them thinner so they dont stick out as much. Thanks!

Really strong dB reduction and nice radio reception
Pros:I was pleasantly surprised at just how good the noise reduction is. The radio has a nice clear sound but it's kind of difficult to hear when running a tractor. The volume control is limited, which IMHO is a good thing since a user might be tempted to really crank up the audio to overcome the very environmental loud sound you're trying to protect yourself against.Cons: The instructions that come with this earmuff/radio are sketchy at best. The main direction sheet keeps referring to diagrams that are non-existent and the print is so small it requires a magnifying glass to read. Fortunately, the set up and adjustments are rather simplistic, so you can figure things out anyway. There are no instructions for lessening the tension of the muffs, but a simple gentle reverse bending of the wires at the top of the arch reduced the tightness to just right.Don't expect to be able to perfectly hear the radio while there's a high volume environmental sound going on.I give it 4-stars because it really blocks environmental sounds very well, it's comfortable to wear (after the above described tension adjustment) and the radio sounds really good even if it may be difficult to hear over loud external noise. Hopefully they will last.

Lasted 2 weeks....
I was very excited to try these out since I use earmuffs for work. The battery compartment is a much better design than most and the noise rating is better than most radio muffs. Unfortunately I only was able to use them 2 weeks and they completely fell apart! I normally get 1-2 seasons or so out of my other muffs so big disappointment with these.... pics show what broke and no the earpads will not snap back in. Not real sure how you would clean them if you can't take them apart.....

Break quickly
I bought 8 of these to use for my patients. 4 in July and 4 in June. Almost immediately, one of the them stopped working. I contacted the seller and they graciously replaced it. I now have 5 of the 8 not working.I had bought a different brand previously and they have lasted 3 plus years. I bought these thinking they were an upgrade and they are not.I have contacted the seller to request a refund. I will let you know when I hear back

Almost Very Good
This product is mostly good. Instructions are weak.My only concern is the volume doesn't go very loudfrom the radio. It is nothing like music earphones pluggedinto phone etc.? It is somewhat quieter. I may ask thesellers about it. I have never before owned or tried a set of phones witha built in radio .

helps you like exercising and still like it.
I love these headphones. I wanted something to motivate me to go to the gym and use the machines. Keeps my mind off of the miles. It now allows me to do 10 miles on the bike. Not just that but I enjoyed it listening to music. Best thing I ever bought for my health. I'm 70 so this is a God send. I even walk more with them on.

Pricey, but alright
Despite the price, these do reasonably well at protecting the ears and preventing boredom. The radio is not particularly easy to use and the buttons are fiddly (especially when wearing gloves). However, when wired to my phone or iPod, the headphones enable the wearer to listen to music or talking books whilst working on the farm or mowing the lawn.

I work in a noisy plant room. When I put these on and switch the radio on I'm in another world. My daughter and I both agree these are a treat when mowing the lawn or cutting the hedge with noisy machinery.

Much more comfortable than the standard issue at work
Much more comfortable than the standard issue at work. I don't use the radio while working in the vicinity of aeroplanes or industrial machinery as you need to keep aware of what's going on around you, but when it's hand when you're waiting for a job.

very good
Great, slightly uncomfortable after very long periods. you do get the pressure sensation in the ears but very effective.I listen to radio 4 and use a circ saw/miter saw and router with no problem in volume.
