Works as expected. Happy with purchase
Works great! I bought similair remotes from another seller that looked like this but did not work as well as this one. Happy with this remote. Good button presses(they register easily without having to press hard). I bought this for an arduino remote control project and it worked out perfectly. Bonus, it came with the battery installed.

Works just fine.
I used this to test an Arduino based IR receiver. Works as expected, the LED indicating "activity" is of great help. The 3 pins on the sensor were not well oriented for my needs (breadboard use), I had to take them out and replace them with a straight set.

Make sure you have the correct version of the library
I struggled to get this working with my Arduino Uno, it wouldn't work. I thought it was defective. Turns out the IRRemote.h library had just gotten a new release to ver 2.8.1. This release busted it. So I rolled back to 2.8.0 and now it seems to work fine.I am leaving this at 3 stars because a company selling a product like this should have this information readily available to their customers so that they don't struggle with their products.

Wrong item, incompatible receiver with IRremote library.
The remote delivered to me is different from the images. Also the receiver is not compatible with IRremote library in arduino, making it useless for any arduino project. Avoid this.

Remote was junk
Only half the remote buttons worked.Also I was never able to get it to decode consistently. Though that might just be my fault.

The material it's made from very cheap plastic.
The remote itself is okay it worked fine. Although, the remote felt very cheap, the top skin on the remote had started coming apart. I had to use super glue on to hold them togrt

Would not have bought if I knew I'd be shipped something else
Remote works fine but the one I was shipped had the controls reversed (the directional buttons were at the bottom while the numbers were up top). This made it incredibly uncomfortable to use for what I needed. They need to update their pictures if this is what they plan on selling in the future
