More is not always better. I have purchased and used this exact green tea extract brand before, without doing research. After I reordered I did some research and all evidence I found indicates that a safe and recommended daily amount is 250-750 mg. More than that can be toxic and bad for your liver. This brand has 1000 mg per serving (2 capsules), which is more than the daily recommended amount. Not only that, but the bottle indicates to "take two (2) capsules twice a day" for maximum benefit, that's more than double the recommended daily amount. For me, green tea extract has been great for weight loss and my overall health and energy, but I'm worried about the long term health effects at the dosage suggested on the bottle. I plan on keeping this but will only take one capsule (500 mg) per day to be on the safe side. I do definitely recommend taking it with food. I didn't eat right away after taking it once and I got an upset stomach and some cramping.

I take 2 Green Tea Extract Pills 1000mg every morning with a high protein low carb breakfast and my appetite is suppressed all day long. I'm losing weight which is great!
