We have been using this compost bin in our kitchen for over 1 year and we are so happy we chose this one. It has a large enough lid opening to easily place food scraps. Plus, the lid stays open when you lift it all the way up. Our kitchen never has a bad food odor anymore thanks to placing all of our compostable items in this bin. Non-compostable items are the only things that now go in our garbage bin. This really helps trap and eliminate any bad food odors; even onions!!!

I use this as a trash can in my car. Perfect size, easy to clean, no smell, the color is nice and it’s really solid.

I've had my compost bin for many, many months now, and it really is my favorite. I love that it has a small footprint when stored on my kitchen counter, but even more so that it has a smooth top and is rectangular, so that in the Summer months, I can neatly store it in my fridge to keep the ants from attempting to invade (we regularly have ant issues). The only small issue I've had is that many months after having it, one of the charcoal filter tabs holding the vent broke (my fault, I knocked the lid off the counter), but I am able to use a small piece of electrical tape to hold it in place. I'd for sure buy another one of these, as well as recommend others purchase it!

I'm really happy with this compost bin. It is a perfect size for my kitchen. It is designed to have airflow, which is absolutely critical for odor, moisture and mold growth. The lid opens easily and the handle is very sturdy. I use the produce bag liners I already get from buying produce in the grocery store. It's not a perfect fit but I feel like it still works well.The charcoal pad helps with odors too, however, I have found that compartment to be harder to access. Tip: if your charcoal filter smells sour, you have too much moisture in your bin. Replace the charcoal pad and either air out or manage the moisture better.

Not a very big container. The bags do not stay in place well and I’ve tried a few ways to try toget them to stay put. No luck so far. It’s a cute container and does look nice on my counter.

If you have to compost this is the most compact and works well on counter. The filler bags are hard to put on.

I've been using this for about a week after being very resistant to saving food scraps. I like the size - it's perfect for daily use. Our city has us add scraps to our green/landscape bin so composting is fairly straight forward. The countertop bin they provided us was just absolutely terrible so I've been hunting for a decent replacement ever since. This looks really nice in the kitchen, you wouldn't know it was full of food scraps. It's a good size, it's small so it doesn't take up too much space, but roomy and really easy to clean. The lid opens up nicely and is lightweight so it doesn't tip the bin (like the city provided one did...) The metal handle is also a great upgraded feature. It just feels sturdy and well made. It's still winter so the bugs aren't out yet, so I'm not sure how well this will deter pests. I'll update if we end up with a fruit fly problem.
