SUCH BAD quality plastic handle - not worth the cheaper price!
The junction of the red plastic handle and the metal piece that holds the blade looks like it's used or it was so poorly made that there is a piece of the red plastic missing or it was made short and so rough/sharp/pointy - it would cut you if touched. I had to file it to prevent injury. No wonder it was so much cheaper than the REAL Bard Parker scalpel handle. BUT something made inexpensively should still be made to work properly!THIS IS JUST BAD QUALITY that the seller just wants to sell and hopes that buyers won't want to expend all the effort into getting a refund.I know I was drawn to the cheaper price but had I seen a picture of what the handle really looked like then I would never have bought it. The picture of a well-made product tricked me into thinking I got a good deal:((((((((

Handle wasn’t quite like I expected
Handle was much more flat and uncomfortable to handle than the one I had before. Otherwise it works just fine

Works
at first I didn't know how to place the blade all the way on but personally this is new to me. I had put part of the blade on and the pressed down on something and the blade went on all the way and stayed tight. It's very sturdy and took care to put and take the blade off. Taking the blade off I had pulled it to the side some enough to then take that price and put it under something to catch it and then pulled cause I didn't want to cut myself. I had good performance when handling it with the blade intact.

Okay for the price
Decent quality but blades are hard to get on and off due to low quality fit on the tip.
