Anchor Hocking Anniston Drinking Glasses Set 16 Piece Set (8 Rocks Glasses & 8 Tumbler Glasses)

The Anchor Hocking Manchester pattern has always been one of my favorite glassware patterns. I used them in the executive kitchen at the company I retired from. I recently found a set of four for my husband to use in the downstairs family room bar. After getting them, I decided I wanted a set to use as our everyday glasses. I found this set of 8 16-oz. tumblers and 8 10.5-oz. rocks glasses. The glass is thick and the base is solid and sturdy. I love the shape and design. The pattern gives them a secure feel in your hand. The rocks glasses are perfect bourbon glasses but also make a great juice glass. They're dishwasher safe but also easy to hand wash because the inside of the glasses are straight. I was very happy to find these at what I considered a very reasonable price. This pattern is becoming more difficult to find and some sets I looked at were quite expensive. I highly recommend.

Very nice looking. Easy to hold. Very sturdy and thick structure. Both sizes are great and easy to clean. Can use for any occasion. Will definitely be a repeat buyer.

Love these glasses! The size and shape look great and are easy to grip. When I first received them, one large glass had a slight crack. I contacted the company and they not only replaced the one glass, they sent a whole new 12 piece set!

Beautiful sturdy glasses. Received shipment today and oneof the glasses arrived with a small Crack. Is it possible to have one replacement glass sent, instead of having to ship back the entire box?

I received these just the other day and writing this review on 3/10/2025. I have to say these are quality glasses. The thickness is approx 3mm around rim, so they are not thin and chintzy. lol, to write this review I even went to the extent to see how much the tall glass weighed, and it weighs in at approx 1lb 5.2oz! Now it may be heavy for some, but me thinking always towards the future, we all need some sort of resistance training lol, especially if getting older 😉haha! (technology has took away alot of our natural movements in life, sad) But, the set is well made, the pattern acts as a grip of sorts too, attractive looking, and not going to break if you look at them wrong lol. They sit on flat surfaces fine, no wobble. The only thing I would like different is if the pattern was actually diamond cut to get some sparkle out of it. But that is me being clearly picky 😬😅 Also, on the bottom it is concaved so when in dishwasher you will have water left in that void. Not a big deal. Overall I love the glasses, love the durability of this set, and I would say this is a must have if you like quality things. I did not have a problem with the shipper and they all arrived in one piece. If they didnt I definitely would not blame the manufacturer. and now a toast,... (clink) 🥂 Thank you! Ms B.

These glasses are beautiful! They are excellent quality! The glass is thick and has some weight to it. Thr lines in the glass offer a bit of a grip so they are easy to hold onto if you have arthritis or carpel tunnel like we do. These are not that thin cheap glass that breaks while you're putting your hand down into them to wash them! I bought the bjue ones and I absolutely love them! Im going to buy each of my kids a set of the clear ones for their homes. These are worth the money, amazing quality, beautiful, and I recommend them, Dont waste your time and money on glasses that will break easily.

Very heavy glasses. Bigger in diameter than you would expect so small frail hands belonging to one with compromised grip may find these glasses to be difficult to use. A plus is the base is thick, heavy, and a full diameter, so they do not spill as easy as some others with a taper to the base. Turned upside doon to wash in the dishwasher, the base has a bit of an indentation so that some water may collect in the base after washing and drying. Easy to dap with a paper towel before removing from the dishwasher. Small, acceptable inconvenience for heavy and attractive glasses.

Low quality! I'm the biggest Buy American person I know and I'm so disappointed in these glasses. Hopefully they are counterfeit, but if Anchor Hocking really made them they should be ashamed. I have older versions of this design that are of good quality. The shape is great because it's sturdy and stays in your hand easily. Here is a photo of the bottom of one of the glasses. It has a big bump of glass so it doesn't sit flat but rolls around like a Weeble. What crap! Another of the 16 glasses was scratched, and a third had ripples near the rim.

I love the glasses, the only problem was one of glasses came cracked and I need to return to whole box to get delivery another one.

I love these glasses! They don't feel dainty or cheap, and have a nice weight to them.
