and it feels like there is a better transfer of power to the ...
This is the third cassette I've had on my entry-level road bike (Shimano Claris group). The bike came with a Sunrace 11-28, and the range was just too wide. Didn't need the 28, and the 11 was too small for me to push. Changed to a Shimano 13-26 and a KMC x8 chain. There was a humming noise from the Shimano cassette, but shifting was okay. Used that setup until my legs got stronger, then changed to the SRAM 12-23.First thing I noticed when swapping out the cassettes was the SRAM's lighter weight. I have no real concern about weight, but I'll take a reduction when I can get it at no extra charge. With respect to the SRAM's performance, the humming noise is gone. The shifting is smoother both up and down, and it feels like there is a better transfer of power to the road, to the point where the new 23 feels like the old 26. In fact, it feels like I have a new and better bike.Good product. Good price. Very happy with this purchase.

Quality cassette
Great upgrade part for the 8-speed Shimano cassette I needed to replace, shifts smoothly, no issues. This 12-26T cassette works way better for the mostly flat terrain in my neighborhood than the 11-32T cassette that came with my bike. Happy with the upgrade, the new gear ratios give me more top speed on the flats.

PG850 excellent cassette. I have used SRAM
PG850 excellent cassette. I have used SRAM, Shimano and Sunrace for these 8-speed cassettes and tend to go through them once a year or so. These aren't top-end super-light cassettes and it's not worth any emotional turmoil in agonizing over the choice. But the SRAM is a little lighter than the other choices and I think it's more quiet. They all last about the same more or less, although I have an impression of more durability from this PG850. Even when it's a bit more pricey than the others it's my preference.I saw a concern about the pins holding the cogs together. I don't know if they're weak - I've never seen one broken but still it's possible - but it should be noted that those pins are irrelevant to the cogs. These are splined; the pins don't do anything, so don't worry about it.

Big change for small $$
For the record, I have a 2015 Giant Defy 5 with about 1600 miles on it. The stock cassette is 11x32, (11,13,15,18,21,24,28,32 ) the stock chainrings are 34 and 50 tooth. I was finding that I spent virtually no time on the 28, 32 and 11 tooth gears, so decided to look at my options. The stock gearing has some fairly big gaps that made it tough to maintain a steady cadence, trimming some off of both the high and low end seemed like a good starting point. I have about 75 miles on the new cassette, and have been very happy so far. There are no severe gaps, and I am finding that my average speed is up about 1.5 to 2 mph. I think this is due to the ease of maintaining cadence, for the $25 invested, this was a definite win.

Good Cassette
Good cassette, nothing out of the ordinary. Does the job. Not quite as good as Shimano cassettes, but couldn't get the size I wanted.

Very lite( the old cassette was heavy ) very quiet
The media could not be loaded. This cassette is perfect with my KMC chain as well, great fit, I waxed the chain and it always makes a huge difference!!

Works well, like it should
It's a cassette. It may not be the lightest but it does the job for which I bought it and it does it well. I've come to expect that from SRAM products. Once the derailleur is dialed in it shifts smoothly, reliably and I expect it to continue doing that for many years to come.
